Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Video Walkthrough (Part Fifteen up!)

Inspired both by Marriland's Diamond/Pearl Video Walkthrough and the Let's Plays from the Something Awful Forums, I've decided to do a Walkthrough for Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team. I know that The Mystery Dungeon games aren't all that popular, being a spin off of the main thing, but I find it fun and hope you'll check it out.

Nice idea, Silverline. I always did enjoy watching Let's Plays and Marriland's D/P Video guides. I'm not a huge fan of Mystery Dungeon, but I think I'd actually enjoy the videos still. I'm going to start watching them now.

By the way, I was Cubone in my Mystery Dungeon. I kept retrying and all I could get was Cubone. So yeah, basically I'm an emo, lonely person.

In both games I got Totodile, and I chose cyndaquil as partner, so basically only the story changed for me.

Thanks for the complements Firus. I've gotta say while I do prefer the original games more myself for their competitive nature, there is something light hearted and all together fun about the Mystery Dungeon games. That, and it is about as close as we will get to the 'real time' Pokemon games that so many noobs keep asking for.

As for the whole Cubone thing, it depends on how you answer the questions at the beginning of the game. If you answer specific questions specific ways, you'll end up as different Pokemon. With that said, Cubone is among the BEST Pokemon to be since he's got the type advantage against a lot of the bosses.

Yeah, story doesn't change all that much with Pokemon, just some small dialog. And as for those generators, frankly I disapprove of them. The only reason I even linked the Wonder Mail generator in one of my vids is because I wanted my friends, who don't have the game, to give me quests for fun. I absolutely hate the A-ok generator, as it's taken away the whole aspect of having a friend rescue you.

well really I prefer it over using a gameshark or AR, since its not hacking. I only use it took get the items I need for something, or to recruit new members easily.

Well, Wonder mail is better then the A-ok Generator, simply because it doesn't completely eliminate the point of rescuing others.

If my friend, Spell_Binder, had asked for it, I would have made him a Pikachu. As of now, all the Pokemon are named after my Forum buddies in another forum. And since I just answered questions randomly, I didn't get any Preset Pokemon.

Also, if you all have any names for Pokemon, wonder mail, or Things I should do to make this walkthrough better, give me a shout!

I've never actually played Pokemon Mystery Dungeon before and I thought it looked like a stupid game. This makes me wanna go out and buy it though.

Thanks for the complements guys. With school starting up I'm going to try to do this at least once a week with one vid, but there's no certainty that I'll be able to do it. However, I did just put up episode Fifteen up for you all and I hope you enjoy it, even if it was done when I wad dead tired.
