Unlike the example with Togepi, we've had three evil Malamar in the anime hellbent on world domination and enslaving every living being.

One of them being a recurring threat.

Don't try to sugarcoat that Malamar is literally the most evil Pokémon in existence.

The way you're putting it, it sounds like it works along the lines of the love potion in the Fate game. Whatever action is done to one player happens to another.
