What's that supposed to mean? I'm don't mean to sound rude, but seriously, is that an insult or a compliment or what?

Right. Sorry. I actually didn't mean to do that. But that's no excuse. I'm really sorry.

Edit: Good gosh. That Scarf looks even better in the trailer. They should really add it as an Alt. Also, I remembered to use the Edit button this time:).

You know, why didn't they base SSB4 Link of this Link? It makes me think the scarf is an optional add on or way to distinguish in multi-player. You know- P1 wears blue, P2 wears red, etc. It would still make a good Alt., though.

This might not have been in development yet. In any case, they could end up changing it before it's released although I doubt that will happen.

That's a good point. I wonder if this scarf will become a permanent part of his character. This kinda reminds me of when in Star Fox: Assault, Fox didn't have his red scarf. That made me so mad. But, unlike then, I'm actually happy about the scarf. Not sure how I'll feel about it being around long-term, though. Just for one game, sure, but forever, maybe. The blue just seems so contrasting and out there. IDK, maybe I'll feel better about it later.

It's a reference to Scooby Doo if that show was before your time. Whenever a villain was caught, they said "I would have gotten away with it, too, if it weren't for you meddling kids and your dog" in some variation.

The fact that he mentioned you in particular is a compliment. Scooby Doo was the main character. Everyone else was just grouped together as "you kids".




Remember that Smash 4 was announced / shown footage for it months ago. And this Zelda was literally just announced this week. That scarf probably did not exist yet when they made the models for Smash 4.

I doubt they would change Link`s design to a Spin-Off game`s design. Remember that this Zelda game most likely will not expand on the Zelda universe and will be non-canon.

I know about Scooby-Doo, and I watched it when I was little. I just wasn't sure if he meant like I was a meddling-type of person, or if he meant me as in he liked me. Now that I know, I good with it. Thanks, LeeYawshee!

Well, it's certainly just a spinoff and may or may not have much of a story, but where was it said the game would be non-canon? It's not like it's a full-on crossover or anything.

And I know that you can't modify his blaster fire to be pink, so I won't even mention that, no matter how swag it would look.:chuckle:

Would you guys think it's cool if Meta Knight and C. Falcon fought without their mask and helmet? I suggested these a while back actually, but now that one of the alt costumes (Punch Out Wii DK) is grouped in with the recolors, I think it could work if done that way since it's not a complete costume change. Cuz I want both Bill Nye Captain Falcon and Classic Captain Falcon :D

EDIT: this is because I'm in the dark about F-Zero for the most part, but this idea didn't occur to me until later. What if Helmetless Captain Falcon had only one other recolor to make him look yellow like Dr. Stewart? I realized how similar their hair was later, so I think that'd be cool too.

...I also want alt colors for Beta Knight please.

I really want just all the alternate Samus suits from the Prime games. Thinking about it they really kicked the whole Samus has to be orange and the suit has to look like so thing in those games. Well if you kinda ignore that Fusion did it too but that feels less impressive in comparison.

OK, I won't say swag anymore and I'll use punctuation gladly, as well. No problem. On a completely unrelated note: Do we really have room for all of Samus's different suits? I love the idea, but she already has 6 palette swaps, which leaves us with room for 4 suits. I don't play Metroid that much so I don't know how many suits she has, so correct me if I'm wrong.

The important ones are The dark and light suits from Prime 2 ( http://cdn.wikimg.net/metroidwiki/images/b/b8/Dark_Suit_mp2_Artwork.png & http://cdn.wikimg.net/metroidwiki/images/9/92/Light_Suit_mp2_Artwork.png ) and The PED suit from prime 3. ( http://cdn.wikimg.net/metroidwiki/images/8/8d/PED_Suit_mp3_Artwork.png )
After that you could do fusion Samus ( http://cdn.wikimg.net/metroidwiki/images/1/1a/Samus_mf_Artwork.png ) but there's already a colouration to look like that.

It's also important to consider what ZSS would go with each.

But Samus is almost never orange by the end of the game...or at the start...
