ALttP/OoS/OoA/LA Link would be awesome, but I think he'd be best as an alt for Young Link, rather than for adult Link or Toon Link. And we don't have Young Link.

Maybe we'll get retro Marth next.

They could always do a 3D Version of Link's LttP sprite, and give it to Toon Link. The big head would fit.

Though I think that using LttP's artwork Link would work fine, proportion-wise, for normal Link.

Has anyone brought this up for Link? It's rather distinctive.
I think a pink-haired Alt. for Link would be pretty cool. Of course, they should probably mix in other elements from his other appearances, so he's not just an pink-haired palette swap, like Retro Suit Samus. I'm not sure what other elements, though. Not that there aren't any other elements, I just don't know what they would be.

I was going to say that, but I'm not finding any true source to back that up.
But his game was released shortly before Melee (IIRC, it was the last game released on the SNES) and Roy's game came after Melee, so it's a cruel twist Leif never got the spotlight.
Shame too, he's way more interesting then Roy as a character.

Hence why I made sure to mention that it's a rumor.

As for being more interesting, well, not a Fire Emblem fan, so it doesn't make a difference to me. I just think he looks cool and his passing resemblance to Roy (with the red hair) would make him a fitting costume.

Leif's white armor would look great on Roy. I mean, it looks great on him, but it would still look great on Roy. The white armor combined with Roy's red hair reminds me of intense flames, I guess. Fitting, considering the nature of Roy's attacks.

I'll be honest, though. When I first saw that picture of Leif, I thought he was a woman :p.

A couple ideas I had:

Executioner Dedede: Black Hood and a large axe in place of his hammer

Jedi Marth with brown robes and blue lightsaber in place of a sword

Sith Roy with black robes and a red lightsaber in place of a sword

Unmasked Captain Falcon, like from the anime

Greaser Captain Falcon with a leather jacket and no helmet (he keeps the shades though)

Cheerleader costume for Zero Suit Samus (Maybe a mascot costume for Samus)

I as an individual have no objection to those, but the PMDT said all Alt. Costumes must not reference games or ideas outside of their own series. Granted, totally original ideas (Shinobi Squirtle) are allowed, but nothing beyond that. It's all in the OP if you have further questions.

That executioner Dedede sounds a wee bit controversial, I won't deny that it would be awesome, it totally would! But... I dunno.

And that Leather Jacket no-helmet idea sound good... Totally original, and reminds me a wee bit of the Tunnel Snakes from Fallout.

How about Bowser having an alt/colour swap that resembles Melee Bowser? Or maybe something like this?

I'll be blunt, I'm not very fond of Bowser's Brawl model. Compared to everyone else, he's like the only character that has a major "off" feeling to me. Maybe it's because the realism is played up more, though I'm probably the only one that feels this... But I'm sooo glad Smash 4's Bowser looks a lot better imo.

As for Roy, if he does get a Leif costume, Marth should be given brown-ish hair for his colour swap that resembles Leif just cuz.

In all seriousness, Awakening Roy would be my #1 costume I'd love to see...

Oh man, you should have seen me when Roy's redesign was revealed. Like, I lost so much blood that day I had to be sent to the hospital. And even then, I fainted and only regained consciousness like 3 days later. jk, but I did squeal like an obnoxious fangirl. Ah, good times.

Whatever Roy's costume is, I don't think my body will be ready to handle it. =P

Also, i think it would be great if Marth got a school student alt. Like, he wears a long sleeved button up collar shirt with rolled up sleeves and tucked into black slacks, with a fire emblem themed tie. Idk it was just a thought.

Yeah, it'll be mean to let them know this will be one of the biggest Art Tuesdays, and make them wait another day.

What I would Really like to See In PM are Plusle/Minum recolors for Pikachu (a More pale skin and the cheek and ears of Pikachu being recolored in Red/Blue), Dark Bowser (maybe Team recolored for Dry Bowser) and a Shiny (Green) Armored Mewtwo.
Also isn't it possible to have Mario Black recolos changed to Look more like Flying Mario (Mario Galaxy)?
