What I mean is that in Project M when Ness enters a stage (His entrance being based off of Teleportation) he enters through a wormhole to the side of the stage, similar to that seen in Melee's intro. Maybe you wouldn't consider it a secretive Easter Egg but it was an intentional reference.
I have some rather interesting Costume designs for some characters, and I want to hear what you'd think: Masked Dedede - Practically one of the only alternates that would fit him best. It's actually just a mask, which would be very easy to implement into the game. OoT Ganondorf - Ocarina Ganondorf is the most popularly wanted for Ganondorf's design and, like Link, he should have it back. BEN Drowned (Human) - The human form of BEN Drowned would fit Link's bones correctly and would be a reskin of OoT's Link with changes, like the removal of the gauntlets and the changing of the tights from white to black, and the eye changes. Skyward Zelda - This would be a rather interesting one to add in, because she would be able to have two different forms of Skyward Zelda; the Skyloft and the Goddess forms. The Goddess form would be pretty easy to implement, much easier than the former. Delta Red Outfit - An outfit like Cammy's from Street Fighter. It would be easy to implement and would give her a favorable costume.
Though the top 2 are already favored among people, I'd like to point these out. With every character, they are practically the same character as they were, though Link's very close to being an alternate character (the margin is so tiny, it's unbelievable).
What do you guys think of the overall costume ideas, though?
Well of course. A good amount of the Alt Costume ideas have already been made, just not by the PMBR and not yet put into Project M.
Also it's possible to make a hammer that's strictly an aesthetic change to the model. And the spikes on Masked DDD's hammer are so small I doubt they'd alter visuals enough to confuse players as to the moves' hit boxes.
Just because one of our ideas has an existing Texture doesn't mean that's what the PMBR is using, nor does it mean the PMBR can't 1-up them.
Dear god his shoulder blades need their own hitboxes. But tone those down and you have the perfect OoT/WW mix. Its the Ganon I've dreamed of since 2002.
Who'd be down for a bunny girl outfit for ZSS? I've only ever found one made for her and it was kinda rubbish and I think it'd be cool to see it done right. I'd like one that's not just her suit styled to be bunny girl like but the proper black or white sort.
Also Street Fighter is just about the least appealing fighting game to me and I play a lot of fighting games.
Looks cool, but I'd be more concerned with the sleeves. Those might need bones. There's a chance they could work with her hair / dress bones, but that would be quite difficult to do believably.

I feel like the dress itself underneath the sleeves could work or be altered well enough with Peach's current design. The sleeves are another story haha. But the hair is kind of like Peach's original hair, just chopped off in the back. The made the ponytail work well enough, so one wonders if they could alter it. I don't know if her hair has any weird hurtboxes or anything like that though
Edit: That paper parasol would also look sick as hell!
Well then who would you suggest as an alternate costume for sonic?
Let's hypothetically assume the pmbr are trying to make at least 1 alternate costume for every character. In sonics case what would a good alternate for him be? Werehog? Knight sanic?
I'm only suggesting him as an alternate because his proportions are close enough to the original sonic. Every other sonic form has janky proportions that wouldn't be able to be a costume and would require some bone adjusting.
Not doing images for these right now. Far too many. Maybe some other time.
