This is for a popularity poll, where I attempt to gauge the popularity of characters. Please keep arguments or discussion outside of this thread. I just want a list.
If you already responded on GameFAQs or Reddit, feel free to ignore this (in fact, please do, to avoid falsifying data.)

The characters I want as DLC are Ice Climbers, Sceptile, Sukapon, Isaac, Ray (Custom Rob), and Andy. I also wouldn't mind seeing King K. Rool, Bomberman, Geno, Wonder Red, Kalas (Baten Kaitos), A Rhythm Heaven Rep, Lankey Kong, Fleming (Only if Andy is added first since he is more deserving), and an Inkling.

Well technically he IS officially listed in the Wario series by the game. Even if he only made a cameo in WarioWare.

I'd also like to point out that I essentially CREATED Mini Kangaroo, both the name, and the idea of her as a Smash character, way back last July. Then I made a fake leak featuring her, which is where most of her fans come from. So, it's pretty lovely that people still like her besides me.

If I seen this leak, I would personally hunt you down. So many characters I wanted, but didn't make the cut.

But I don't browse 4Chan.

Mario/Wario- Waluigi, just to round out the plumbers and the fact that he's a water bender.
Xenoblade- Cross, can'y say too much since X isn't out in the states but could be like the lovechild of Shulk and Robin.
FZero- Black Shadow, So we can do this.
Donkey Kong- K.Rool, I want him, you want him, Vice president Biden wants him.
Zelda- Tingle/Impa both are recurring characters, and in Zelda that's something. More partial to Tingle personally.
Metroid- Ridley, but he's a stage hazard. So Random black guy aka Anthony Higgs because goddammit Smash needs a black guy in the roster.
Kid Icarus- Medusa, Deserves the spot more than Dark Pit.
Fire Emblem- Anna, Our lovable mascot and RNG goddess. Just make it more Apotheosis Anna and less Trickster Anna.
Kirby- Prince Fluff.Yarn Kirby, Why does everyone forget about Epic Yarn.
Mother- Porky, Mother has two heroes, lets even things with a Villain.
Star Fox-Krystal, Only if Wolf comes back first though.
Pokemon- Serperior, I'm a little more partial to Serperior thanks to the limbless design as opposed to Sceptile.
Cut characters-Snake, Dat Ass back in HD.

As for New series
Wonderful 101- WonderRed, Would help gain some recognition for the game if he was in Smash. Plus the guy beats guys up using other guys as weapons, that's some hardcore **** right there.
Splatoon- Inkling, Today's direct made it so clear why they would work and those nightmare inducing Mii costumes can;t be the only thing Splatoon related in Smash.
Golden Sun- Isaac, He's an earthbender.
Tecmo- Ryu Hayabusa, Makes more sense than Lana, and tons of moves from Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive
WayForward- Shantae, Deserves it more than any other indie character
Crazy off the wall "4th Party"- Wreck It Ralph, It makes more sense than Shrek.
