in fact you should give us your exact address, your social security number, and any credit cards you have.

but yeah theres probably hundreds of smash players in MI, if you cant find any then you probably havent searched hard...either that or you live in the middle of the mackinaw bridge.

A lot of us are around AA, Detroit, Southfield, troy, the general SE MI, and there are those others that are in South Haven and Grand Rapids, the general West coast MI guys, then there's midland. they're kinda far away... Lansing also has a decent smash scene, (i think it might be better during the school yeah as trail goes there.), there are also smashers all over the place. you can always check out the Global Smasher Compendium thing to find exactly where some ppl are, although my crew isn't listed on it (to my knowledge).

... Actually, they are pretty much equal. Don't be a little *****.

Ankoku is in the Troy area, and I am around Royal Oak/Detroit area.
(I don't think you will find people that specific -PM-)

well, you might find ppl, but they'd be trash to play against, you usually have to go about a 1/2 hr to get to the nearest good competition (unless you're midland, they're kinda out there...). You could go to the Southfield Smashtacular on the 23rd and then to Midland on the 30th to get a taste of competitive play.

scotu - northville, me - livonia, ankoku - troy, anther - dearborn

and everyone else that has been listed.

There are tournaments and smashfests just about every weekend or at least every other weekend if you pay attention to the boards. Also, most people that are around will be probably willing to meet up with you to smash if you want practice.

i'm only telling the truth. i played them both, so i'm not making a blind judgement.

i'm not saying Zelow is horrible or anything. i'm just saying DBS is better. maybe adding "a lot" was an apocalyptic idea :p

Actually, you ARE making a blind judgement.

I have played them both too, This week I should add, and they both seem to be at about the same level.

I was talking about your L-cancels and other stuff, really, but SDing is bad too. The Falcon thing was justified because Falcon has to win in the coolest way possible, but really.... I'm not going to save you from Illusioning at the very edge more than once. lol

im might try a tournament but i really just want to know where im at and how i can get better

Tourney's are one of the best ways to find out were you really stand on the competetive smash scene. They also let you see how better players play, and what's really killing you, so you know what to work on in order to improve. At the worst, come and get your *** kicked, and get a taste of competitive smash, at best, come and win and find that you really need to travel throughout the region to find good competition.

It's hard to be weak to Roy... are you sure you're not just generalizing with Marth? And if you've got trouble against Spacies, then prepare to get hit hard with them. Top tier doesn't just mean they're good, it also means they're ridiculously popular.

PM: I 4-stocked his Fox. XD

Maybe I'm just reading wrong, then. I know that I was shieldgrabbing, and if you properly FFL-Shine, then I shouldn't be able to shieldgrab you at all.

Just get really good at L-cancelling and wavedashing PM, and perhaps anything sweet that your character can do... so you won't be too far behind. Its better to have that stuff at least close to mastered so you're not bombarded with what the better players will own you with o=.
