Most PM Falco players I watch on stream are slow. They move slow, mostly do SHLs, and rely on basic pillar combos. I'll agree that most PM Falco players are amateurs, however, I'm really astounded at how people think Falco is mid-tier. If you can obtain and practice tech skill, and have large-scale thinking in-game, you can make any decent character with a decent moveset feel broken.

Axe sets a great example of how Falco should be played. Don't look at his opponent's flaws, but his Falco gameplay. Axe is one of the few, if not, the only PM Falco I enjoy watching. Some of you probably think, "Wow, that other player just sucks." That's because Axe combines tech skill, mind games, and character match-up knowledge. He also adapts in-game to get the best of his opponents. One of the biggest things players struggle with is adapting. They just go in-game performing the same moves, and that's what makes Falco, or any character for that matter, look boring.
All people do is bash a character's weakness. They don't take the time to explore their character, obtain tech skill, inquire character match-up knowledge (this involves using a character the same way, just more cautiously, if need be), and develop unorthodox movements.
Commit to exploring, developing fluidity, and acting unorthodox-like in-game. Most people struggle on this, and this is why they think a certain character belongs in whatever tier. Plus, Falco's kit is great.
