good luck, and a tip that will make your sigs look 128 times better (not kidding) : Hold shift while resizing renders.

Welcome to SWF! I like the animation, simple yet effective. I can't wait to see what else you guys can do. If you guys ever need any help with anything at all (especially animations) don't hesitate to ask. =)

Btw, I'm really sorry about the disproportionate images. I'm still a n00b, only getting the program 3 or 4 days ago. For everyone out there, don't expect anything like ridicuously amazing just yet. I'm stil a work in progress, but I'm learning pretty fast. Me and PKlucas84 made this shop under the advice of Pistolz to fill the growing demand for sigs.

I've only had GIMP for about a week...

So you should find your bearings pretty fast. Come to my (A_man & Co.) shop to check out my first decent attempt at a normal sig (animations I'm already solid with (but you already know that), just posted it.

Go around the shops and check out people's sigs to help get a good idea of the best styles.

This is my first attempt at a animation. It's not as good as PKlucas84's will be, considering that he is doing onlky animations. but i thibnk that it's pretty good for for a first try. Pistolz told me how to do the animation, but didn't do it for me. Sorry for the size.

there's no best styles (except for avoiding overwhored styles)

but

To be honest, you can't find anything very inspirational in here (except for some well-done animations and some tags by for example marthmaster and weed...)
so let me make a topic with the best inspirational small art anyone can find!

Ya, you need to crop that baby. WAY too huge. Also, the background is not needed for this animation, you should take it out.
You should also try to add a few more frames next time with less space moved between each frame. For a first attempt it aint bad. Keep working on it. You'll get there. =)
i like it somewhat
kinda slow
and choppy
and skips
pklucas is a little better
If I remember correctly your first few animations were far choppier than this. Don't even get me started with that huge one where 82 different things happen in like 12 frames. lol

Hi everyone. I think this is a really good animation for my second try, and I just want to know what you think. Sprry for the size again, I'm working on that.

Yeah but overall his is less choppy. Your Neji is perfect. Your background, not so much. His sprite- kinda choppy. Your background-very jumpy. Mojo's really awesome at animations.

Another two. The second isn't good, just funny. The first I think is good, if a little jumpy.

ue getting good but...
an hour??
This baby right here took me 5 hours

and this one took 7 and a half hours

they are good but to make them better spend more time.
Don't be jealous that his take less time and look just as good because no offense jonathan, that's all your doing. His look just as awesome as yours and I don't see why you put him down. Sohe's faster than you. DEAL WITH IT

Here I sadly must agree. Don't be puttin him down because he is faster. You are both faster than I am. This baby took me like 9 hours.

I am sorry I haven't checked this shop in a while. Mojoman, you are getting excellent with animations. I should probably be getting back to them, I've been working on normal sigs for the past week or so.

I have to say though, I think you are actually better than PiSToLZ (no offense man, he's just really good) I think you could be better than me once you learn how to take out backgrounds and/or add ones like Final destination. And learn to render better.

But honestly, once you discover how to render sprites correctly and try something that pushes your limits by improvising with a sprite sheet and finding your own ways to show moves(such as ice climbers animation) you could easily be considered tied if not better than I am.

Read some tutorials on cutting out backgrounds. I can't wait to see what you can do in another week or two. =)

Here are my newest. I think the naruto vs. sasuke one is amazing especially the fight scene. Sorry if I sound a little braggy, but I'm really pumped about getting this good in a couple days! I with I could enter these in the sig wars.
