Pit vs Metaknight

Meta Knight's recover is called Shuttle Loop, meaning it'll be nothing like Dolphin Slash or Final Cutter. That screen shot only shows the initial burst, but after that he will do a full loop, since that's what the Shuttle Loop maneuver is.

Why do so many people like metaknight? He looks kind of the same as kirby and kirby was garbage in melee... I might main Pit if they don't have Toad or someone else I like lol..

I really think you need to play Kirby's Superstar or watch the trailers again. If you did you'd see that Metaknight has alot of varying features to distinguish him from Kirby. From a purely cosmetic standpoint people without past knowledge of Metaknight only see him as a Kirby with a Mask on.

Don't forget this is Brawl, not everything from Melee will apply seeing as it's a different game.

i like metal knight because he gives you a sword before you fight him but i think his fan base is filled with too many "Hell yeah he if freaking evil omg he is dark" so i will go with Pit.

He's hardly evil. Metaknight is very honourable; more of a rival to Kirby than a villian persay. Oh well people think he's evil based on his looks alone; hopefully they'll have a trophy explaining that he's not evil in Brawl..

metaknights recovery is going to be just like kirby's and his isnt even that good

Yes because Kirby was also featured in the How to glide update.... Honestly just because some moves have a similar start-up does not mean that they're the same move -_- I mean you sure can see everything from ONE screenshot

This topic isn't about your personal preferances, it's about a possible etablishment of what character is better. But since you guys want to get "uber fanboy" up in here, i'll add this:

Pit fought off hordes of demons single handedly, and what does MetaKnight do? Pathetically attempt to kill a Pink balloon.

Anyway, back to the characters.

Pit and MetaKnight seem to bear alot of similarities. One of them is the ability to recover, another is having quick multi hitting attacks. MetaKnight has the speed advantage in attacks, but Pit has a more of a range advantage in physical combat + Projectiles. Weight establishment is also is obviously going to be diffirent (MetaKnight will more than likely be lighter than Pit). It's hard to predict how each character will turn out. MetaKnight is fast and Pit has more variety.

Okay... so i was super excited when i saw Pit, I couldn't wait to fly and glide around shooting my friends... then i see his special move list. His up b is to fly... Metaknight's up b is some special Marth like move, does this mean Metaknight can fly around with out a recovery move? Did they break Pit... or will the bow/dagger compensate for it... or is Metaknight a freakin' beast?! please discuss and help me!!!!

I believe you are confusing a characters skill and abilities for what they would call "bias". Opinions cannot pass as facts on an analysis.
