I'm a bit skeptical because I've played Pikmin 1 and 2 before and trust me, they've made me so angry. The red ones always fall into the water and drown/die. Poor pathfinding if you ask me.

Thats why you use the c-stick to controll there walking.
Pikmin 3 though...if it uses the Wii motion sensor capabilitys, count me out. :urg:

I don't think they'd go that far...

I only see them implementing the pointer for that huge circle cursor on the floor, everything else will be button presses.

It'd be awesome if they put in 2P Battle for WiFi. Even Co-op would be cool.

I did use the c-stick to control them but you see, i was to get to the other side of this river and the only way was across this log. Things didn't turn out too well, lost 3/4 of my entire red squadron. :)

Oh well at least it's not as annoying as those stupid "lemmings" games. >:(

I think the motion sensor will control the big circle for bigger aiming...but will most definately be used for other things....

I loved pikmin 2's battle mode and co-op mode...but i want a REAL co-op mode like 1 player mode with 2 people...and maybe more than 100 pikmin on the field...

Well there is always away across....the game is confusing in some parts...but thats why it's so great...

I think their will be new pikmin types...duh... cause in the first pikmin ending you can see more pikmin onions and ships atleast 8....

At least you didn't get to the harder parts of the game... Where your multitasking skills are put to the test.

I did like the "Co-op" mode. I just massed 100 random Pikmins and rushed my opponent. Kinda reminds me of Starcraft's zergling rushes. kekekekekekekekekekekekekekeke ^_^

I've always loved games with Co-Op.

I do love co-op games so much..... Me too i destroy eniemies...except i only need about 6 pikmin with me at a time my bro takes the others.....:)

I loved the two previous pikmin games the motion controls should fit well in this kind of genre.
Yup...it practically writes itself...*ya'know the control scheme.....*

I bought the first Pikmin game with my gamecube. So many things bothered me about the game. I hated the story line in general, which really can make or break a title. The gameplay was far too simple and relaxed for me. I really don't see me buying #3 in the series. There is way too many good titles coming out later this year and early next year to even think about it. With my knoledge now of future titles, I've estimated spending at least $300 on Wii titles within the next 7-8 months. And that is a lot for me to spend.

True there are a lot of good games i plan on buying too...:)
BUT..pikmin 1's storyline was ingenious...you have 30 days to find all of your ships parts or youll run out of oxygen and die.....

It's not supposed to be a hardcore fighting game...its a chilled strategy game...thats fun to play...but pikmin 2 emproved on the first game in every way though...

I liked Pikmin 1 and 2, so I hope that the 3rd will not disappoint. It would be fun to have a co-op story mode (not just versus matches) and online play as well.

Actually pikmin1 got a 9.1 pikmin 2 received a 9.3 so they emproved...
In pikmin 2 olimar crash landed but knew he was going back to the pikmin planet to find treasures to save their debt...

The 3rd would be awesome with online and co-op story mode....

Those ratings can be total bullsh*t. Sometimes it seems that they are critiqued using no guidlines at all.

I have high hopes for this game and do not think it will disappoint. And about the Wii motion, every game Nintendo, themselves, have done have used the control very well and had not felt gimmicky.
