Look, I haven't had pie in over five months, and I am fat. So, I am craving for some form of the hearty goodness of pie. In the meantime, I want you to talk about the joys, sorrows, and comparisons of pie. What's your favorite pie? What kind of pie are you hankerin for? What pie makes you want to say, "What the Heck?" It doesn't matter. Just talk about pie. (I am guessing that for some people like me, this thread will be salvation).


I myself happen to be a HUGE fan of pumpkin pie. A little vanilla ice cream on top and I am good for the day. Lets start this thread off with that.

Also, there is one thing about pie I was debating with a friend about.

Boston Cream Pie. Is it a cake or a pie? I say it is definetely a pie (why call something a pie if it isn't really a pie?), but my friend says that it is made with cake, so it counts as a cake. What are your opinions?

Bailey and Fluffy both have it wrong, at least if you lived in Indiana a while ago. There was a piece of legislature that would set the value of pi to 3.2 because it showed a diagram of a circle with diameter 5 and circumference 16 (as well as other incorrect measurements on the circle).

First off Melon, I'm fat and I haven't had pie in ages.

My favorite has to be Lemon Merigne or Lemon Cream.

I like Cherry and Pumkin as well. Rhubarb's okay to have sometimes.

Now as for the battle between cake and pie earlier mentioned. They are very similar, pie is almost like liquid cake with fruit.

To support cake: You never here of a hot chick jumping out of a pie, it's too messy "Here I am" ; "Yeah go take a shower."

To support pie: Cake has too many weird varieties. Rum cake because everyone's been eating cake and thought "You know what this needs? BOOZE! I only got 2 hands and ones holding a cigar, meet me half way will ya?". Of course there's fruitcake which is basically anything but, fruit "What's this a skittle?, Is this a treasure map I just found?"

So they both are good and I really can't decide.
