I think it would have been funnier if Sonic had a home run but and hit the bag as it came to him.

It's impossible to do that because you can't do anything when the timer gets to zero.

Right, but because of the wind up time with the home-run bat, if Sonic was close enough to the stage the bag could make it to him in time.

That's true but the cool part of the video is that Sonic ran 650 feet and the bag ended up in the exact same spot as him. If sonic was too close to the stage, it wouldn't be as cool but it would be funny if sonic hit it backwards when the bag flew to him.

Might have used a spin dash which is faster than his running speed.

lol I remember messing around with something like that.

I'm not sure, but if you're going to do a spin dash, do it at the end, cause I *think* it'll allow you to move while you can't control Sonic.
