Are there any people who are AT, but you wanted them as a character? Personaly, that's not the case for me, but is it the case for any of you?

I know evereyone wants little mac... Im not complaining with the assist trophies yet though.
On the one hand I'll say that pretty much everyone except a minority (which includes me and, by your word, you) is ticked about someone or other being an assist trophy.
On the other unrelated but still important hand, I hope you didn't intentionally make two versions of this thread.
And, on the unusual third hand, this thread seems vaguely familiar, but I don't know where to direct you to because there's no stickied AT thread (hint-hint).

Did you play it on Virtual Console? Cause I played it in other... legal... ways... and I didn't get the story too well. Why did he
Seriously. He has a Cannon Sword, and for his Final Smash, he canturn into that big monster thing
transform into a monster?

Played it on VC. It was after the third level, IIRC. You have three bosses in a row,
Rodan, Kachua, and monster Kachua.

Not really. I can't see any of them having more to their moveset than they already have as ATs. Except maybe Lyn.

Right, I remember. My... legal form of the game went blank during cutscenes.
After Saki... well, you know... you play as some girl. That's how far I got.
But anyway, on topic. Little Mac. Just because he just fits!
Come on! They turned Ice Climbers into playable characters! And they were less-compatable than Little Mac!

Little Mac would have been awesome. When I first saw him I got all excited cuz I thought he was gonna be a char and then I realized he was an AT.

Lyn totally should have been playable. She's one of the two characters I actually want. I hate what they did to her 3d model after seeing Saki... *Cries*

He would've been the perfect second F-Zero rep, what the **** was Sakurai thinking?
I was hoping they would nudge Gray Fox in as a character ever since I knew Snake was going to be in Brawl. If any other MSG character deserves to be a fighter, it's him. I don't see why Sakurai had to rub it in some people's faces saying "Awww! It makes you want to use him as a playable character."

I thought Lyn should have been a playable charater. I don't care for the other confirmed assist trophies much.

I would have liked to see Samurai Goroh or Lyn as playable, but none of the confirmed Assist Trophies have been characters I REALLY want. Poke Balls have Gardevoir and Deoxys on me there, though.

Same. If anyone, I was hoping for Deoxys as a playable when Brawl was announced.I would have liked to see Samurai Goroh or Lyn as playable, but none of the confirmed Assist Trophies have been characters I REALLY want. Poke Balls have Gardevoir and Deoxys on me there, though.

It would have been cool to have put the Hamer Bros in and had them play like Ice Climbers. You know with two of them making up one character. I totally think tha would have sent a jolt through the smashing community. But who is to say that another double character is not on the way?

The only two that I think really should have been playable are Samurai Goroh and Little Mac.
Hammer Bro: Generic enemy at best, so it's lucky for him that he got a AT spot. He might have needed to work with a second HB like the ICs, but then that'd be a bit to close, wouldn't it?
Nintendog: While this would have been original to say the least, there's no way this would have worked out. (Not like anyone's complaining)
Goroh: He really was the only F-Zero character who could get in besides Falcon. He actually had some fighting abilities outside of his race car too. Besides the sword, he had sumo (and crazy flips ala GX) and could have had something to do with fire
Dr. Wright: Not a fighter in the least really. He's an AT through and through.
Knuckle Joe: While he does have moveset pottential, KJ really is to much of a small fry. Plus, the Kirby series is at a good balance with the current three fighters
Devil: Very obscure. I don't know much about him, but I don't think many people actually thought this guy would get in as playable...heck, most people probably didn't even think he'd get in as a AT cause they probably didn't know who he was.
Andross: Forever he would be a giant floating head. Old or new, he wouldn't have worked out as anything but a boss or AT. Heck, the only place he actually had a body in was in that old Star Fox comic that was published with Nintendo Power.
Lyn: I don't think Lyn really deserved this spot. She wasn't the main character of her game, and the main reason people wanted her in was because she was a girl. Seeing all the katana users put to the wayside here though, she must have been considered...but I wonder who the real katana user here is that knocked out everyone else....
Mr. Resseti: Did this guy ever have feet? (Actually I think he does, but they just don't show up often) Anyways, Resseti could have been playable if there were more AC reps, but he couldn't make it in as the main one. He's major but not that major...and I like how he's put in here. He couldn't really have his long rants as a PC anyways.
Excitebike: This guy never had much of a chance in the first place, He's too...lacking. In fact, doesn't Mach Rider beat him out anyways?
Lakitu: This guy falls under the same vein as Hammer Bro, but then again, HB could have at least fit the style somewhat. Lakitu needs to follow his set pattern, and that's what he does. It was good to make him a AT.
Little Mac: Oh my heart. How it breaks for Mac. Why this little champion not made playable? It could have worked. He may have had all boxing moves, but he could have used some from the other fighters....maybe I am deluding myself here, but this guy really should have been playable.
Gray Fox: I don't know much about this guy, but is he really that important? He doesn't seem like it....maybe it's just my poor knowlege of MGS, but did he really have any merit above other characters in that series? (Also he's another katana user kicked out...)
