Peach is so tough to play as x.x

You guys are gonna realize some serious struggle once you fight a tough and well played Meta and DDD. I have never been through so much hell then in these 2 match ups. Meta is the worst, DDD is second worst (for me).

Your gonna see how tuff this fight is. Be very smart and careful here when playing these 2 characters

dumb upB is killer too...

i find ddd's ok (though my friend's ddd is hardly anything to m2k's) if u can stay away from getting grabbed and getting hit by everything.

I'm telling you fight a good DDD who knows his stuff and is really experienced. That fight is not ok. Your gonna go through hell. Its a hard match up. But if your not gonna take my word for it then ok. When you play DDD like I have, dont say I did not warn you.

That Dedede player must be one heck of a pro if he was so tough for you to beat. Makes me wonder if that Dedede pro can handle the likes of Toon Link and Wolf too. After all, they say that a fighter is only as good as the player who uses him/her.

The DDD Spaced himself well, left lil openings and camped as well. It was Hard to get to him and if I mispaced myself, I get chain grabbed And it becomes very hard to kill DDD. Since Peach has a hard time killing. Even if I try to save my kill moves. I am forced to end up using some of them just to get some damage on him.

I did not think he would be such a problem. I fought a few DDD's before and I did fine. Then I met this one guy and he shows me how much of a pain he can be. But I made up a strat for myself to deal with him, cause it took a while to figure out how to deal with this guy. it makes the fight a lil less stressful with this guy, but its still a pain. Just cause he is a big target does not mean I can run circles around him. That was my first mistake when I fought this guy. I thought that. And with his High Defense, its a pain to just K.O him alone.

Really good metaknight gives me hell but Dedede I don't have that much of a problem with. I can beat players who are better than me when they use Dedede, but if they use Meta or Snake or other good characters they'll beat me. And yes I've fought good Dedede's It's probably a playstyle thing. I find Dedede real easy when you aggressive pursue him and go after him like crazy. ALWAYS use down air approaches on Dedeede. ALWAYS. It forces him to have PERFECT timing and spacing on everything to hit you.

No you're not horrible, lol. It's a pretty even matchup when the Dedede is a good one and Peach is good, in my book. What is he doing thats bothering you?

Getting chain grabbed and camped, and ever when I tried to space my attacks, I still get grabbed.

Don't land against Dedede that much. Stay in the air. He can't exactly jump out at you. All he has is his back air, and if he turns around to use those, then you can indeed land. He can use forward B but if you see him jump THEN you land as well. But as long as he's on the ground I'd stay in the air, and space forward air and down airs.

If you properly space forward air he cannot shield grab you out of it.

Have you tried this approach?

Float at him in reverse, down air, then grab HIM? Or jab? It works well. He can't grab ya cuz you land behind him. Just make sure you are already behind him during the second half of your down air if he shields it.

I started playing like that against him. And I got wins off him. so I guess I go even with the guy now but still. its a pain to just deal with.

Idk...I'm having my doubts as a Peach main. Its been a week of hell with me using Peach.

you can tilt the analog stick down and press Y on the game cube controller to start floating over the ground and then you can do all the aereals you like without jumping at all, her foward smash is pretty good for killing too and her peach bomber can save you sometimes.

With killing moves, it's all about good spacing. Being defensive isn't bad, but you want to be at least slightly aggressive too if you want to kill without having to get to 200%.

Turnip throwing is good until it becomes a predictable game and camping with just turnips and then rolling away can be predictable if that's all you really do.
