I realized I had been posting yet never introduced myself...
Hi! My name is Pedro, but I am known as Pap64. You can call me Pap for short!
I have been playing Smash Brothers since the N64 game, but I didn't really get into it until Melee was revealed back in 2001 and came out that same year. That's when I first started following news of the games closely, learning more about the competitive scene, rumors, leaks, all that fun stuff. I currently live in Orlando, Florida. Moved here from Puerto Rico in 2014. I am a Cast Member at Walt Disney World, so both Nintendo and Disney have legitimate ownership of my soul. Lawl.
Anyways, Melee was the first time that truly got me to adore the series, even though it was far from perfect and I think it's a tad overrated. But through Melee I met a bunch of real life friends because the speculation and hype was so big that we would post on the IGN forum boards back in 2001 and just speculate and talk about the game. That's where I met

for the first time. Him and I go way back, including working together on another friend's website, Medaverse.com.
I have written for several gaming websites, the most notable being Nintendo World Report. I wrote for them for about 4 years until my life changed and couldn't keep up with writing content. I have owned almost every single Nintendo hardware system except for the Virtual Boy. My favorite Nintendo games are the original Super Mario Bros, Wii Sports, the Mario Kart series, The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time and way too many others.
Outside of Nintendo my favorite franchises are Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, Ratchet and Clank, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Tekken among others.
