Geez that's a small picture. Any chance of enlarging it a bit?

Anyway, I could see this happening but more so from a more recent town, as Wii4Mii 99 mentioned. They could be pretty creative with the background, such as passerbys stopping to watch the fight, or a pokemon battle between two trainers.

I just hope they don't go too far as to adding a chance of a sudden invasion of a thousand mewtwos that destroy everything.

...I like this idea a lot. Really, that town (or another Pokemon town of its nature) could be a blend of Onett, and Saffron City. I guess instead of cars, a Pokemon would charge across the stage, or possibly one of the houses opens up with a Pokemon inside of it. This idea has loads of pottential. o_o

I think the idea of bringing back some of the Saffron City aspects from 64 is a great idea. They took the fighting on top of buildings and put it into Farside. Maybe it could be located on top of a gym? or Professor Oaks house?

Nice idea, but as pointed out it isn't going to happen. Still a "town stage" idea sounds like fun.

I'd actually love to see the Saffron City stage come back. I miss it.

PsychoIncarnate is right. PT is from R/B/Y so he gets to have his hometown.
Unless Colisseum is his place then whatever.

Actually, this is a cute idea for a stage. I'd very happily play it, though I doubt Sakurai has even thought of the idea. It seems more likely we'll just get some random poke'mon stages like in Melee and 64.

But then again, Red is a playable character. Who knows?

Yes it's true. But i think that PT house ( Pallet Town ) would be better than safari zone or other places. Or maybe in Team Rocket Hidout where some grunts appears and throw pokeballs with Team Rocket pokemons

I like your idea but I think a better idea would be to have a battle on top of the last battle of each pokemon game. I forgot what it is called but once you have all 12 badges you go to it.

They could have several different types of pokemon appearing a different times of the match.

they should make gyms. it would be cool to be in an earth gym. maybe it would rotate through all of the gyms

well they already have pkmn stadium 2...but i like that idea of pallet town. =D
