Sup boys and girls. Just got the game yesterday and immediately me and my brothers went to Palutena's Temple to listen to all the character convos. Afterwards we decided to do Mac dittos on the Boxing stage because why not. That's when I realised some of the Boxing Ring aliases have changed in the PAL version, so I had to share some. Try not to cringe too much by the silly nicknames I've given the cast below, the line in colour represent the actual boxing ring alias. Have fun all dont do drugs and stay in school

From what I know in Smash Bros 3DS, all the trophy descriptions were different from US and EU. Although they all basically say the same thing, they were worded a bit differently. This is likely the case of both versions just having their own translation group.

So this is likely the same case with these. And EU does it sooooo much better this time.

Strange. It's like they can't have Blue Bomber and Blue Blur as titles within the same game. I suppose it does make it sound redundant. But still an odd inconstancy.

If you use the word "fart" on Miiverse it tells you, that you've used inappropriate words in your post and can't post it. So "fart" is banned on miiverse but it's in SSB WiiU. Wtf? Go figure that one out. That's just funny.

"farting" on the other hand is ok on Miiverse. I know this as I wanted to post something about Wario's farts on Miiverse. "fart" failed for the above reason but "farting" was ok.

I think what nintendo was aiming for was to refer as the "One-Two" bit as one word and refers to it as the boxing manouvre, rather than a couple of numbers, and that the "The only numbers he knows..." bit is part of the joke. Either way you think of it, there's a grammar error so yeah looks like nintendo slipped up a little. "The only numbers he knows are 'One-Two'" would make more sense
