Painting a Gamecube Controller

I currently have a Blue/Clear Gamecube controller (top half blue, bottom-half see through) and I'm interested in painting the top of the controller white.
How would I go about this without wrecking the controller, what kind of paint should I use, etc...?

Any help is appreciated!

Make sure you use a sealer, otherwise all your work will be for nothing.
