And still growing.
The Super Smash Bros. community showed the world how much can be done in the span of only a few hours. With the drive to reach EVO's 8th game slot and foundation for funding for a greater cause the results were as followed:
Special and huge thanks goes to Melee It On Me for creating the initiative to get the community to donate and matching the numbers given!
Skullgirls, previously #1 in the race, was not pleased...
There is still time for any game to catch up, but not if the Smash community has anything to say about it.
Juggleguy, host of this weekend's tournament, SWEET IX, will be donating a portion of the venue fees directly to the Super Smash Bros. Melee charity fund. The tournament is to take place in Ann Arbor, MI with 4th place Apex contender Mango in attendance.
The Smash community is not only making a statement but we are making history.
