Can you beat 18 inches?
Wouldn't that get a bit unweildy?

Her: "Babe, are we going to do this or not?"
You: "****, this thing is too heavy."
Her: "Here, maybe I can help. I'll get this end. One... two..."
(A loud mewing sound is heard)
You: "****! Do you see what you did? I liked that cat!"
Her: "I'm SO sorry."
You: "Tell that to Fluffy's next of kin, you murderer."
Her: "I don't think we should see each other anymore."

The way I see it, that's two ******* lost.

Are you planning to stop playing melee when brawl comes out? o_O
Yes, playing two games at the same time with only two hands would be difficult.

Thanks Timmy, also I am going to be moving soon so the Portland bi-weeklies will probably slow down until I am all situated, my new roomie is one of my long time best friends and he is a gamer though so for now I'd expect it to start up again, I dont think the location is any better for easy access though, and likely worse for people to get to *tear* sorry.

The Reno guy wants to come down to Eugene from Portland.
But I think it'd be easier for Eugene to go up to Portland.
Depending on circumstances the Eugene Weekly may be moved up to Portland, may be canceled, or we'll go up to Portland after the EW.
All I know is I can't get to Portland tomorrow as of yet (though I'll find out tomorrow for sure).
If t!mmy goes up by himself the EW will stay on schedule.

I really don't know why the Reno guy said he was coming down to Eugene, I thought he was traveling through, but from the sounds of it I think he just wanted a ride and back to attend the EW.

Things need to be worked out a bit... @_@

I've seen worse but none come to mind, it did give me an amazing headache though, good find. So when is the next slightly larger tournament before SFE?

My schedual is looking like this -

SFE Winter - Dec 29th
The Dan 2 - Jan 12-13
Fingerbang 2- Jan 19th
Pound 3 - Feb 2nd
Brawl Tourn - Feb 10th

See that 27 day stretch where there is nothing to do?

Is there a place to see the big city gaming brackets?

What's the "Big City Gamin'" brackets you're talking about? I doubt there's any place you can see them, unless you're talking about the Big City Brawl weeklies we were doing, or previous Eugene tournaments that I have the Tio brackets saved on my computer.

Thanks timmy but actually I meant this month, there is a norcal tourney on the 15th, I can probably make it if anyone else is driving there for it.

And yeah i meant big city brawl, my mistake. I was curious just to see how eugene does against eachother and to see if I could reference that for PR material, I know that the PR is new but it was thrown together pretty hastily and hasn't been changed, like Jayce is better than Duke from what I saw but that doesn't mean either of them should be top 15, and Milk hasn't played in any tournament I've been to, also bart says that the PR was based off of the last 2 tournaments but when I ask about Milk he says the last 3 tournaments, unless I just can't read or for some reason remember 2 but he actually did say three in the beginning. Also I think Timmy or Tommy should replace Minh since we need a fourth panelist and we really should have one who regularly attends Eugene tournaments. And Timmy I really liked how professional and organized your PR thread was and wish you could have been the mod for it because you would actually edit regularly.

@ Bart - Nothing against you or Milk or your opinions on players, I just think that your PR lacks much relevant data and I don't think that tournaments results should be used to make the PR too much until there have been plenty of them, not just one or two, there is a lot more knowledge that we could get from the community, especially active community like Timmy, Tommy, Juce, and yourself. You guys regular play everyone and you know relatively who you have the most trouble with and who beats who. Lately a lot of our better players have been attending PK and I think that information should matter, one panelist and a supporting community should be able to reflect minor changes given recent relevant information, normally this wouldn't be the case but our community is so small that players are constantly changing position and regular updates are more realistic.

Well, my computer is completely kaputz right now, so results of the Big City Brawl summer league are unavailable (unless they happened to be online somewhere randomly).

PR discussion should go in the ZOMG thread.

Dec. is always a lax time for tournies because it's hard to schedule things around Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. It's a good time for less-organized "weeklies" so that people who want to get together can get together and play.

Jayce isn't better than me. Where did you get that from Binx? I played him at DoDu and I 2-0'd him and he didn't place higher than me at The Finger Bang.

And it wasn't a friendly, it was like a money match except the winner would be in the Portland crew for the crew battles that never happened at DoDu.

I mean, he is a cool guy but I don't see where you are getting that he is better than me.

Well yeah Binx tends to not know what he's talking about when it comes to judging skill.

But DoDu was a long time ago, one tournament's results are not infallible evidence to rely on, and I've heard Jayce has gotten better recently. So who knows.

So I am changing my name I will no longer be Peach Masta, but the Jiggle Jammer. I will be Peach Masta when I play Peach and all of you can call me that still. Ryan is going to be the Sheik Slammer. So we are the Jiggle Jammer and the Sheik Slammer.

Gage, thats dumb, Duke you got better brackets than Jayce did. And Josh I am pretty sure I can tell skill levels, pretty much anyone can, I don't know where people got this idea that I am horrible at recognizing skill but whatever.

People got it from the fact that once you have an idea of that persons skill in your head you won't get it out and someone has to hammer it out of you to realize what it is. I don't know if you still are like that but in the summer thats what I was told. You seem to be able to recognize skill level in my mind pretty well
