Only 1 Month Away........

Here we are, the beginning of September. There's only a month away until the next smash bros. on the 3DS (Or- I'm sorry, a month and 2 days).

Or, if you can somehow get the Japanese copy of the game coming September 13th (lucky....).

You must be so hyped then ever! Tell me, has there been anyway you people have been celebrating in a way? I don't know, play Smash 64, then Melee, then Brawl all in some form or another? Host some sort of tournament of smash honoring this upcoming moment? There's just so much EXCITEMENT IN THE AIR!!! Especially, of course, if you can get smash in the next 12 days.

I have been going through all Smash games and "rating" the characters based on four categories: fun, performance, move-set, tools and utilities. Basically, my sister and I go into a five minute match and play a free-for-all mirror match with every character in each game and arbitrarily assign the categories values between one to five to see how much we enjoy each character from title to title. After that, I am probably going to play a lot of Wolf and Lucas in the event that they are removed from the game for whatever reason.

I like that. A way to go through characters and keep those ratings fresh when comparing them to what's coming in the never games.

I'm currently on Smash Boards while playing a compilation of all the newcomer trailers in the background... yeah, I'd say I'm a little anxious.

Also is anybody in this thread considering going dark when the Japanese game comes out? I'm alright with knowing the roster and stages that are leaked and officially shown, but idk... I remember ruining every single little facet of Brawl for myself (like, each and every menu, how the SSE went... everything man) so I'm thinking of just staying away for two weeks once we're at that point, to preserve some surprise.

Obviously we all would like it quicker, but two weeks is not that bad at all. I mean, think about this wait as the two weeks before the two weeks and it's actually not that bad.

The revealed newcomers, cusomizable movesets and improved online modes are are reasons enough for me to be hyped, not to mention what we haven't seen like the complete music list and gameplay of the final build. Even if the latter two features disappoint, I'll still have a blast playing the game with friends.

Well, I was talking about the release in PAL countries. Brawl reached 'Murica about a month after the release in Japan.
