I thought there was already a thread about this but I can not find it anywhere otherwise I would of just bumped it. Anyway, is there online play in melee, if so can some one provide the links? Thanks in advance. :)

I think Project:M will have online play IIRC.

Other than that, I don't think so.
wait, Project M isnt Melee right? its just a Brawl mod intending to be as near at melee as possible. but still thats not melee.

im still waiting for melee online gameplay since years, which will obviosly only be possible with the gamecube Emulator Dolphin. there are yet tries to implement it and seems to work at first but desyncs very quick, thus not playable. but im pretty sure it will some day :)

Melee has online but you have to have version 1.0, phantasy star online episodes 1& 2, and a broadband adapter. What's more is that the link to those tutorials are gone forever because it was on geocities and geocities closed down. There is no current way to play Melee online besides emulation, and the vast majority of us don't have computers good enough to play the game at a decent speed let alone online, just have to wait.

I have pso ep 1 and 2 but I don't have melee 1.0 lol. I got melee in 07.

Plus brawl isn't good online, why would melee? No one would have melee online anyways so you wouldn't really be playing that much people.

Also, BSOD D:

Actually, it wouldn't be so bad on melee as opposed to PSO, because you don't invest that much time into melee as PSO... well you do, but melee is more about skills, and PSO is more about the time spent WITH that character, so all that time just POOFS with PSO. Unlike melee, all you have to do is either copy a friends save file or re-do it yourself, it wouldn't be hard at all.
