Online play drastically improves mind games.

When you are playing online, there is usually lag. Most likely enough so tech doesn't matter as much. This means mind games becomes a HUGE part of the game. Yesterday I was playing with my cousin who lives not too far away from me. We still had some lag, enough so it was a lot harder tech. About half way through the second match I noticed we were playing 90% mind games and 10% actually attacking. Now when I am playing offline I am much better. Try to find someone to play with where you will both get lag and improve your mindgames!!

Uh, wrong.

I just played a Snake with virtually no lag. I usually got him to KO percents at 2 stock or about 75% on his last stock. I had lag, however - He was able to spotdodge a lot of my stuff, and I was lucky to pull off a good hit combo.

Mind games? No. You'll be seeing a lot of characters like Snake, Lucario, and others with slow, strong jabs and hits and decent range, because lag has more effect on the guy dodging the ranged attacks and slow hits than the attacker, who would have lag anyways.
