This is very good news! I hope the speed will be fully functional in, say 1000 km range. That would help a LOT!

still wish there was some kind of online ranking system having playing peoples besides ur friends not have to be so random... ehh i have mixed feelings...

Ahhhh this is a great update. BEST ONE YET easily. I was so worried they where gonna cut this. Seeing those words made my day better. Thought i'm hoping to transfer a lot of friends codes via this site (plz say it's allowed) because random battles sound pretty plain.

Wow, such a major update and it's not on a friday. I'm not complaining of course, this is WONDERFUL news. I'm definitely psyched even more than I already was. And the fight anyone option is great. But of course to consistently fight our friends, we've gotta deal with friend codes. ICK. A minor setback. I've been waiting for this news for a while. this is too good.

apperntly with the headseat rumer is that you can talk with friends when brawling? =O EPIC.

random battles seems fun. its how u get better. sometimes u need a variety of opponents because not everyone plays with the same style. we will still be able to play against friends which is cool. I like the taunting thing! I hope we can cuss

Not looking too good in that regard, but maybe that will be fixed sometime before the game is released. At least, that's what I'm hoping for...

no, the fact that you have pre-determined text messages that you send pretty much rules out any chance of a headset.

i don't think it's a huge deal, though. not for smash.

the rest of the week doesn't even matter. This is the update i've been waiting for. True big news to be released on the site. Sure new characters and stages and junk are cool but this is what smash is all about multi player.

Why do people want ranking systems -_-

I'm genuinely curious. It's not like online matches will matter much, and it's pretty improbable that any of us would be any high on it.
