one of the best counterpicks for snake against metaknight...

Yeah, really good Metaknights are hard. Thanks for the finding, I'll choose Weegi's mansion against MKs from now on =3

I saw a vid somewhere else of DSF's snake getting ***** by azens meta on luigis mansion though..

yeah but DSF was playing pretty stupid in that match, he kept trying to approach, if you watch the match that i had i waited on him to see what he's gonna do to be able to counter attack, he should be approaching you not the other way around, you HAVE PROJECTILES make him come to you, and DSF was rather predictable in that match

He's a good player, he just had a really bad match is all

I think Snake has the advantage in the matchup 1 on 1

MK needs to get a gimp to have the advantage, it's not that hard to not get gimped as snake, i didn't gimp hrnut nor afro thunder at all when I was in florida, so it was an extremely tedious process. If the snake gets gimped, he put himself in a situation where he deserves to die.

Also, DSF played stupid in that match on Luigis

thanks for backing me up on that one M2K, and i agree snake does have the advantage as long as he's grounded, once he gets in the air it becomes a metaknight combo video :laugh:, seriously though this is a really good counterpick stage for snake.

I used this as a counterpick today and 2 stocked a meta knight that had barely beat me before 0_o

Its amazing make sure to try this out sometime.

Pirate Ship is a better counterpick against Meta. Much harder for Snake to get gimped or properly edge guarded by Meta Knight there. MK's kill options there are more limited.

I heard that this counterpick was supposed to work in Metas favor, but apparently not. Pirate ship is bad on Metas part, but if you focus on keeping your Dsmash as a fresh kill move its much easier since you dont have to worry about gimping.

well in fl pirate ship is banned :( so we gotta go to the next best thing, i've never fought a metaknight there though might be better i'll test it in a friendly at another tournament

On that stage i do believe snake has the advantage. But i rarely counterpick (i hate that stage).

Imo in the matchup the best stage you go to is Battlefield (i believe snakes best stage).

But if battlefield doesn't work, choosing it continually is sorta redundant, isn't it, no offense (Referring to your matches vs. Seibrik). It sorta bothered me that you didn't even try to counterpick. >_>

I dont like playing on counterpicks, i hate almost every stage besides the neutrals. BF is my favorite stage so if i can pick it i'll pick it.

Besides now i just go MK so it doesnt matter.

I had to face chexr in the 2nd round of a tourney I went too a few days ago lol

I didn't get a chance to play Equi though. Dissapointing.

nah i still MAIN snake. I only go MK vs d3 and maybe falco.
The last 2 tourneys i used Snake all tourney (except for MK for a single set)
