Olympia was just announced as the next playable Rivals of Aether II character at Genesis X2!

Much like Etalus before her, Olympia was also playable in the original Rivals of Aether. She was one of the four workshop characters to join the official roster. And speaking of workshop characters, her trailer started with a fakeout involving Hodan. Then we got another fakeout, this time for a non-workshop character, Absa. And of course, Olympia’s trailer did eventually show us the mouse herself! We got a brief look at her moveset, complete with a combo montage and her victory animation.
As for her release date, she’ll become playable on April 2nd, 2025. Also, there’s still two more characters to be revealed this year. One of which will release in Summer and another in Fall. Also, both of these characters will be newcomers, not returning characters from Rivals of Aether.
Author’s Note: Can't help but notice her release date is the same as that Switch 2 direct that's coming up. I severely doubt they're related though. Also, those fakeouts were a tad cruel, but absolutely hilarious. Normally fakeouts can be rage-inducing but here I couldn't even imagine getting mad at them. All the old characters are confirmed to eventually return so it's really just a matter of time until they get in. As for Olympia herself, she looks fantastic! Alongside Absa and Maypul she was always one of my favorites from the first game. So personally, I can't wait to try her out in Rivals II. What do you think though?
