Smash Apprentice
Well i've been straying from the olimar boards lately,trying to improve my secondaries. And i've noticed that alot of the boards have a ladder for their character,and of course i searched ours and noticed that we don't have one. And of course i thought that man i always read where people ask who is the best and i thought this might be a great way to prove it.
The goal of this Thread is to have all the oli players come out and show their stuff against other characters. And i will keep a archive of all the videos Brought in.

So here is how it is gonna go.
*We will be rated on a point system.
*One pikmin equals one point.
*Names will be placed in order from most points to least.
*Any video of a ranked match that is brought in, the owner will be awarded 5 pikmin
* You can earn points only by playing matches matches(1 V 1 or 2 V 2)
-1 V 1 match rules.
>Matches will be set to 3 stock
>All matches will be the best 2 out of 3 wins.
>No items
>Stock time limit set to 7:00
-2 V 2 match rules.
>At least one character MUST play Olimar
>Stock will be set to 3
>stock time limit at 8:00
>Winner determined by best 2 out of 3
-Miscellaneous match rules
>Misconduct can result in a ban
>Forfeit will result in remaining player to win by default,repeated forfeits may result in banning
>All players must be apart of the SWF as a registered member
*Pikmin point system will determine the standings
-The pikmin point system
>Winning a 1 V 1 match earns you 5 pikmin
>Losing a 1 V 1 match earns you 1 pikman
>Winning a 1 V 1 match,best of 5, earns you 7 pikmin
>Losing a 1 V 1 match,best of 5, earns you 3 pikmin
>Winning a 1 V 1 match,best of 7, earns you 10 pikmin
>Losing a 1 V 1 match,best of 7, earns you 6 pikmin
>Winning a 2 V 2 match earns you and your partner 10 pikmin
> Losing a 2 V 2 match earns you and your partner 4 pikman
>Winning a 2 V 2 match,best of 5, earns you and your partner 13 pikmin
>Losing a 2 V 2 match,best of 5, earns you and your partner 6 pikmin
>Winning a 2 V 2 match,best of 7, earns you and your partner 15 pikmin
>Losing a 2 V 2 match,best of 7, earns you and your partner 8 pikmin
> In a 1 V 1 match, if your opponent exceeds your score by 15 Pikman you earn 10 Pikman(13 in best of 5,15 in best of 7) for winning and 4(6 in best of 5,8 in best of seven) for losing
> In a 1 V 1 match, if your opponent trails your score by 15 Pikman you earn 4 pikman(6 in best of 5,8 in best of seven) for winning and none for losing
>In a 2 V 2 match, if your opponents combined score exceeds you and your partners combined score by 30 you gain 20 pikman(22 in best of 5,25 in best of 7) for winning and 8( for losing
>In a 2 V 2 match, if your opponents combined score trails you and your partners combined score by 30 you gain 8 pikmin10 in best of 5,12 in best of 7) for winning and 2(4 in best of 5,6 in best of seven) for losing
*all those who sign up will be placed on the list.
*Players will be responsible for finding opponents, any SWF member can be challenged as long as you didn't play them the match before.
*After a Best of three is over if player wish to continue it is elevated to a best of 5. And after that Best of 7, which is the highest registered matches will go
* The winner is responsible for posting results on this thread

Please Guys,this is a new idea for me so please don't try to take advantage of this. The main reason for this is to get all of the oli out there too learn methods by playing other Characters. But of course this is also to have fun. So enjoy yourself and let the ladder.........COMMENCE
