Well I hate to say it but he was decomfirmed when they annouced the color changes.
And saying hes lighter is acualy a point that was towards alot of clones

Wolf Link is a dumb idea from the beggining, especially since Link doesn't have transformation. It's JUST a wolf anyway.

WW Link has different weapons...so? You could make 10 different Links with all the different weapons Link can equip and has over the years

Ok, yes I know Wolf Link is a dumb idea, at best he could be pared up with minda,

But WW Link, or who I call young link, has became a whole new character in a new world, its almost as if there from two differnt series now

Well I would say that Luigi will return and will be able to pull out his vacuum link how Mario pulls out his Flood, and should be the same besides that.

Yet, you think Dark Samus should be in...-__-. Honestly, anyone who wants Dark Samus in and not Paper Mario and WW Link are kinda hypocrites.

Now before you tell me stuff like, "Dark Samus is not the same character..and blah blah blah". Maybe you should start seeing why people think these two alternate version of a character should be included. And why Mario and Link should get another version (Especially mario...>.>), and why it has been done in melee, even though it was rushed.

No matter what way you want to look at it, there are two playable Samuses in the game right now. The only thing is that Zamus is not taking another spot in the roster, because she's a transformation character. Plus now, there's Wario-man and possibly Sheik, and you're saying hugely popular characters like Mario and Link shouldn't get another version of themself just because they are bound to take another slot.
So, in the end, it's just to make the roster pretty and filled with different characters. And I find that rather stupid especially if you want people like Balloon Fighter or Animal Crosser.
