Well, I'm deciding which characters other than Marth I should use. I'll probably stick with Fox, because, despite how I hate how tech-based he is, he is an extremely useful character. I dunno if I'm staying with Sheik, she doesn't really feel all that useful. I'm thinking either Falco, Jigglypuff, or both. I don't really feel like I care right now though.

Vega, we will destroy "Team X Buster" or whatever the hell they're calling themselves in teams!

Rasta, what version of DDR was that you had at Shade's house?

and, zelda's recovery is long, but it's obviously quite predictable, unlike mewtwo's teleport which is faster. samus's up+b is the ****.


haha, weight of bowser with the fall speed of samus...how insane. and cheap. and lame.
not to mention the grab AND grapple.

Oklahoma has a pretty large smash group, its active too. I try and hold a smashfest atleast once a month, but now that school is in, I dunno....

Hey DangerChap, it's cool that you guys are coming down from Colorado. You can expect a large smashfest about twice a month, and depending on where you're moving, maybe some more frequent mini get-togethers with my crew. I've always wondered what it was like fighting Colorado, heh. Even if you don't consider yourself top dog over there, it would be interesting fighting someone with a style different from OK.

This is like the Smashboards equivilant, so check it out if you want. Which Soul Calibur are you looking to get into? I got the 2nd one, and I haven't started seriously on it yet, so we will be on even grounds (assuming you just started). I haven't played 3 yet, since my PS2 crapped out, but I'll be getting a new one anyways since SF:AA came out

Oh, and we WILL defeat team "XbusterfaceLesbianPancakes" or whatever they're called Zinth, haha And Shade's character needs Fox's shine, or Fox will just own it like in those AR videos.

i like SC3 because there are multiple disciplines a created character can use that characters in the game don't have(like grieve edge for monk).

sc2 is better, in my opinion, and i love the gamecube version because link is awesome, but i'm one of those kids who's just into the new one. like how some people are still playing H1...wtf? and i don't play sports games, but if i did it would definitely be the newest madden, not madden 95. for cereal.

i guess if its vega and zinth as a team, that leaves me and rasta? but i dont know. ill pretty much team with anyone who wants me. but then again me and a level 9 computer got shade and chris down to one stock each. but then my teammate, gannon, warlock punched me....so yeah......

and i really suck at soul calibur. i just button mash.

and i decided DDR owns guitar hero so bad. as soon as i get my ps2 back im gonna buy it and get good at it.

so yeah, my birthday is in about a month, and itll just be a smashfest pretty much. except with cake and crap.im not sure who all can come yet, or even what date it will be.

and i got this awesome zippo at a garage sale for 50 cents. itll be so cool once i polish it.....

-edit- that moveset is so broken its not even funny. i didnt even read it all except samuss falling speed and bowsers weight. its probably peachs down smash and marths f smash too.

DDR is probably the best game ever. People say "You look like an idiot, and this game doesnt even teach you how to dance". In which I would reply "If I look like an idiot, they will tell me to my face" Yah, imagine going up to somebody like me that you dont even know and saying I look like an idiot. These 2 stupid freshman girls went up to their bf's and said "Lets laugh at him while he plays", they disagreed. They are actually lucky that I didnt find out till they left, I would have beaten the **** outta them, taken their shoes and their wallets...Yah, dont mess with me when it comes to ddr. And or the "dancing" part of ddr, ofcourse it doesnt teach you how to dance, its just stupid if you think it does.

I'm definitely gonna get DDR. Mainly because it'll serve as an additional workout to my weight lifting and biking at the Y, but it should also build some coordination skills. Also, all the cool people play DDR

Drew, if by some chance I can make it, I'll go to your tournament.

I think I'm going to be good with five characters overall: Marth, Fox, Sheik, Falco, and Jigglypuff. Why so many you ask? So I can own more in teams. I probably only need Marth and Fox for 1v1, though the other characters will probably end up being very nice additions.

anywho, i was thinking about picking up peach instead of jigglypuff or samus...because i'm better with her. and i don't want to do a lot of work.

yeah, i'm a lazy mexican, shut up. but, i like peach, about as much as doc, i don't know which i'll pick up, though. maybe both, who knows. doc's wavedashing/wavelanding is just too sick, but peach has the turnip awesomeness and of course awesome floating abilities, more specifically awesome in edgeguarding.

ha, that's not what i meant. i mean i'd rather work on someone who i can start easily with since she suits my style, rather than completely change my playing style when playing with one character, which i would have to do with jigglypuff. i worked on my peach for 3 hours yesterday, and my sheik only 30 minutes. i like peach, i like doc. maybe i'll pick them both up, and have a pentagonal **** squad of yoshi, falcon, sheik, peach, and doc. that way my one low tier toon will be supported by 4 higher tier characters.

now that ive read that i realize how stupidll broken that is. i mean thats the ceapest combination of moves i can think of.

ill just assume noone bothered to read that, since noones commented on it, but if you do holy crap.

those smashes, and aerials, the only thing cheaper would be links up b or foxs down b.

im gonna come up with one for snake thats so cheap. actually ill just call the character cheap mcdandy or something.

hey you should make a girl with a longbow. thatd be hot, you know. cuz i saw this picture of a girl with a shortbow, and it was. so a longbow would ahve to be better. right~1??!?

but anyway i never heard (if you said) waht kind of game it is. ill just assume its a first person shooter.

and yeah the stupid kosmos might as well emit the shine on every frame, so as soon as it touches somebody theyre infinited, and if you just run at them forever they are infinited until they get spiked off the side.

but i think there should be a character that instantly wins. it would give this "kos-mos" a tough competition, but in the end i think this "kos-mos" would beat it. theyd both be top tier though.

oh yeah, shode doesnt have internet right now, until i go set up his laptop. cuz his mom wont let him use the other computer now or something, so we can make fun of him now.

-edit- wow, i hit quick reply, and it wasnt quick. it said please wait or something. so far this upgrade seems underwhelming, excpet for the fact that my sig fits now. although i would like a new one, oh well.

Anyways, I have decided to pick up Falco instead of Fox. I am already decent with Falco, whereas I suck with Fox. I like Falco better anyways.

Oh yeah, is there gonna be another smashfest or anything before school starts up? For me it starts on the 23rd. Summer is to short.

Meh, right now I feel like I only want to use Marth, and just have my Marth be so good that it can hold its own against any character. For me, using Marth is so much more satisfying than using any of the other characters.

I like using Marth but I can't SHFFL good enough to use him effectively. Bleh, I can't SHFFL good enough to use anyone effectively teally. Eh, just gotta keep practicing.

i couldn't shffl for **** w/ marth, so i started using doc instead, i'm thinking of making falco my secondary, but all the colors are taken.

I can SHFFL decently with C.Falcon and Sheik. Trying to get better at it with Marth and Falco. For some reason, I have a hard time SHing with Marth. I can SH nearly perfectly with C.Falcon and Falco, but not Marth. Anytime I try and use Marth's DAir, I always jump to high.

Well, I have decided I am going to stick with Fox and drop Falco. I'm just not used to Falco anymore, seeing as how I spent quite a while practicing with Fox. So, my characters are now as follows:

Captain Falcon, Sheik, Fox

And I FINALLY found a method of SHing with Fox that works nearly everytime for me, so... Whoo!

the only person i can't SH with is samus. it's not like it makes a huge difference anyway because of her falling speed.

and tan falco is the coolest. i use blue doc, white falcon, white sheik, yellow yoshi, yellow peach.
i don't know if i'll continue using both doc and peach, but i need at least 1 more character because yoshi really doesn't cut it in advanced play.

i think im going to adopt a quasi random selection of colors, and just change it to what i want when i feel like it, since what color i want to be changes alot. im not gonna be like shade and change it every 5 seconds, im just choosing all of them, but if its a color someone else wants(aka red when im fighting zinth) ill give it up, but otherwise ill just do whatever color i feel like.

ive finally decided samus is my main, and link is my second. even though ive said it twice before, im sure that link will be my secondary. i learned i cant live without lots of projectiles.
and with link, the prjectiles are more personal or something. you have greater control over where they go, with samus its a striaght line, but whateverworks..

and yeah, people tell me samus's shorthop is hard, and crappy. but its necesarry for advanced missile spamming, if nothing else. and it does speed up aerials, if youre starting them from the ground, but thats for losers. but after playing with link for a while, it makes samus SH real hard, i guess i got lazy with link, but whatever.

i have an itch to smash, but i gotta find 20 hours of volunteer work, for my school before summer is over, in 2 weeks....im sure i can do it....if anyone has any ideas, go ahead and say so, but i was thinking of trying to go to a library to do it.

but yeah we need a final smashfest before the end of summer. an earth shattering, record setting smashfest. one that well remember. one so great that even oosers will wish they could have gone. the only way to do that, instead of a normal one, is to do it before summers over. obviously.
