Oklahoma Thread: Weekly events for all games in OKC and Tulsa

hey my smash code is 2750 - 0843 – 7620 , i added everyone on the list above, so if any of you add me, if I see you online i'll join your room. I spend most of my brawl time in vs mode with my 3 brothers but sometimes i will go wifi late at night when everyones a sleep. My brothers never let me play brawl with out them haha, so we havn't unlocked anything any other way besides vs mode and subspace emesary, just unlocked jiggly puff today from playing 350 brawls, we probably have like 400 now. lol its a slow process but it works.

whoa, i play often with my brothers as well. we should have a family vs. battle! i've been lookin for someone to play doubles online with.

gamebattles.com would be ideal for grouping together (though it has no clan feature), since it is MLG and seems to have a very active ladder that will let one easily get quick challenges using the Match Finder.

About the site where we keep everyones stats in OK, i thought of that before, but we all decided it would be too much trouble and time to do something like that. And about the state clan name, oklahomies was brought up a long time ago to, but for reasons i can't remember i don't think we used it, we just stayed Oklahoma.

Oh and chibits, what time do you usually get online, i added you, and if you added me.....(im pretty sure my wii number i posted is correct lol) then we could play some teams or melees or what ever. And chris....what is your freaking #!!!!!!!

The time I was Samus taunting a lot is because I messed up starting the match as Zero Suit ha ha. And sorry that that last one disconnected, it was a close one too. I say a rematch sometime : ).

chibit those were some great matches, im not going to lie when i say your much better in teams than in one on ones. Your like twice as good then, but alone i dont have that feeling you of pressuring me as much. That marth lock i think, hes pretty good too. I hope you and your brothers wana play again sometime. Yeah sorry bout that d/c... My connection was acting really weird today. Usually, I have no problems... Yeah, those matches were awesome. I also realized that I have a tendency to do really chancey things. I never just play safe it seems. I gamble a lot, so I tend to roll snake eyes quite a lot, but lawdy, when I roll twenties...

It may not be your fault, Bryan. With more and more people buying Brawl and getting online, the stress to the servers is going to increase, resulting in more lag for everyone. Yesterday, several of my wi-fi matches were totally unplayable due to lag.

The only solution is for Nintendo to upgrade their network(ha) or just try to play at low traffic times, such as early morning or late at night. Smash is almost impossible to play online around 3-6PM, as that's when most players are getting home from work/school and are itching for some online action.

Oh yeah, has ANYONE found my Wiimote? Those things ain't cheap, and I really need it...

While I want to subscribe to Nintendo's servers being a variable because it would decrease distance in half, I think WiFi matches are P2P, with Nintendo's servers being used mostly for just match making rather than actually hosting games.

ya i agree with po. playin early mornin or late at night seems to have helped the lag with me alot (not to the point to were its mazing mind you!) but give it time im sure in the nxt 6 months things will calm down after the games been out for awhile
