Shade, since your idea on the power rankings sounds wayyyy too familiar like the arena rankings in Armored Core, it reminded me that ACO posted tourny final vids of PD vs Yaka. Friggin' Yaka is an OB fiend! Too good. Well, let's just stick with the new system Reno proposed for now though, I can trust that the new rankings will be consistent and unbiased.
Edit: Btw, having a point system like that may favor the more "active" player. As if you were to challenge someone like Pay$ and beat him over and over again, may let you acquire more points over someone like KOSMOS, who may be more of a passive player. Though, if the system you suggest were to take points away from a player as well, it may leave someone like me with less points than Pay$ if I were to consistently lose to you or Kosmos.
No luv Paemon, haha.
Edit #2: Sorry, my first edit was directed towards Shade and his point system.
Sounds good Reno, I approve. I'll post my thoughts in the PR thread soon.anyone else have the feeling we should forget the digits and do our own power rankings based on a 4 or 5 person panel?
i think it's more fair that way, believe it or not, because i think a few people have good judgements on other's skill, and it will reflect more correctly oklahoma to OOSers than wins against each other.
what do you think?
if so, i'll be the first panelist, since i ran the statistical power rankings,
and i'll pick the other panelists, i guess. just, tell me if you want to be in by friday, and i'll pick people so we can join the craze and do our power rankings like everyone else does, which i presume is a smarter/better way than we/i planned.
