Well, I am free on any Saturday. With the exception of one weekend this month, but I can't remember exactly which one. Got a family reunion, but I don't know exactly when it is. I should probably find that out.

The local tournies woul dbe cool, since I doubt I could ever go to any OOS tournies. Well, unless I got a ride then I might be able to go to one. Eh, getting off topic a lil' bit there.

Anyways... I really need to get some practice in. I'm tired of fighting comps, it is boring and rather repetitive.

My character lineup is Marth (main), Sheik, Jigglypuff, and Fox. I don't like using Fox as much as the other characters, but he's too useful to pass up. If I get bored enough, I'll use any character for fun.

Alright, the two candidates looking good so far is Oct. 7th OR Oct. 14th. The reason I chose the 7th is because any Saturday earlier would be too close to Grav's Smashfest. If that doesn't agree with your schedule, I'm sure the 14th would work just as well. If you have any disagreements or suggestions, feel free to speak up.

The main problem we face now is finding a place to hold this event. We may have quite a lot of people, so I don't know if Babac would be able to host such a thing. Just let me know your thoughts and whatnot on the issue.

As usual, I'm automatically bringing a TV and Cube. I suppose we should be fine with about 6-8 stations.

Mey, I am currently working on Sheik, Marth, and Falco. I might go back to Pichu/M2/Bowser sooner or later. Keep up the good work with Yoshi though

I think that Pichu/M2/Bowser should be for gimmick matches and you should stay with Sheik/Marth/Falco for tournament play

oh yeah, and the next smashfest everyone attends, the one we do power rankings, we should do crew match dodgeball style.

meaning the two people who get 1st place and 2nd place are team captains and they pick members one at a time until there are 2 teams and then there's a hugantic crew battle. if there are an odd amount of people we can tweak the stock count, too.

it's a good way to pass the time, IMO.

Aww, "Kai" I still believe in you... If only I had a clone to go to work for me, then I could play anyone, anytime. However, since I don't, I will try my darndest to attend as many smashfests or whatevers as I can (read maybe 1 or 2, because of my work situation).

As for who I think is the best, I won't say exactly, but Chris and Pablo are definetly somewhere at the top of the list in my head. With that being said, I am on a mission to conquer the Smash scene here and abroad, and I will not rest until I conquer a tournament either here or elsewhere.

So from now on, I'm not limiting myself to just playing Luigi... I will learn as many others as possible and will show that I am better at this game than my tourney results claim. Po Pimpus will go down as one of the best Smashers in Oklahoma, after that, as one of the best Smashers in the Southwest, then, who knows? I am on a mission, and I WILL NOT QUIT UNTIL I SUCCEED. Guaran F'N teed.

I don't mean to sound all serious, but I've been playing this game competitively for longer than most of you guys and I still have nothing to show for it.

It's come with it or don't come at all time for me, and I intend on coming with it.

According to Rasta, the next tournament(AKA OHSNAP 2) Will be around Christmas.

EDIT: I got .001 as one of my times on the reaction speed test. Top that! Unfortunately, one of my other times was **** so I only got .182 as my average. The dot always changes color when I blink. -_-

Alrighty guys, since I *might* go OOS, my crew and I will need some extensive practice against the top tier characters at the next smashfest. I'm hoping Rasta will hold one next weekend, and maybe get some more practice in at Grav's B-day smashfest crazy party extravaganza.

i'd have to say the 14th. I'll be busy the weekend of the 7th. Shade/kai/toby/kuni, do what you have to do to win.......in a tournament. At a smashfest feel free to screw around a little, improve your short range, don't shl so much. Don't be me, but feel free to play a match as game and watch once in a while, just to see how it'll turn out.

Yah, Shanx, I guess you have a point. I do experiment, alot at fests, at tournys though, I feel a little more constricted, rules are lame. And ussually like to play friendlies more than the actual match.

Still I seem to do much better in teams than anything else. If I have the right partner, I feel nothing can go wrong.
