Oh Man, Power Missiles Ftw!!

Im super excited about this. I must post a vid. Power missiles are the shiz. I literally walked someone off the screen with power missiles! no bs. "Well couldn't he just air dodge?" you might be asking. The anser is YES! They could have, and they were UNTIL I found out that perfectly canceled single SH'd power missiles while advancing creates a situation in which when they would try to air dodge they get hit by the next missile. Because of how power missiles move (start slow then accelerate) they hit at the PERFECT time. It was like a wall of pain with missiles. This is amazing! Samus gets some BA points for this. It could be epic if we perfect it.

you're talking about the SHDSMC? Or just advancing SHSMC?
Fun tactic either way if that's what you're talking about. Never thought it'd have this kind of potential though.

HAHA YES MAFIA! that is exactly what Im talking about. You can do to just about every member of the cast. As long as you hit with one missile you can hit with the rest. ITS AMAZING. I mean, this is a use for power missiles AND its anoher way to KO with Samus. It could even be considered tech. why havn't we been talking about this?

Hehe. i did -almost that to a Snake player at AzoneTwoStep(had to finish with a Z-air) he was shocked. it felt good.
I love the fact that SHSMC then running in and doing a grab is still a very useful, but basic, technique.

the reason people aren't talking about things like this is probably because people are still to busy whining about not being able to kill. that or they figure missle canceling is already known far and wide, so they see no need talking about it.

I love Super missles. gotta weave them in between homing missles and Z-airs, it really helps put pressure on people.
As I've said, every move has it's place. you just gotta know when and where it is.

Just SHSMC. One missile before landing then repeat. If you cancel it right you can hit most of the cast even low to the ground.
Thats why I only missle cancel a single smash missle, ALL THE TIME. Except... when I'm against like... kirbeh.

It's kinda a bit hard to set up.

Lemme see....

Super Missiles have pretty good knockback fresh.
When you MC these things, you have to make sure the knockback is not too high so when they get hit, they start blowing the opponent too far away.

Then the damage has to be in the correct range, for example, the Charizard in my vid was around the 100s.

And then the character fall speed and weight all play a part.

And its hard as balls to set up.

I mean, you have to go with the intention of actually MC a super, and then move forward and fire another. Hopefully the person gets hit with the first.

And then, if you rack up too much damage on them with messed up Super Missiles, they are basically too damaged and the missiles have too much knockback.

I have only done this twice, one against the charizard, one against a DK.
I could pull the DK vid up and see what it is like sometime later.

Either way, it looks amazing, feels amazing, and is straight up pwnage.

True things you speak of Mafia. Around 100% is the ideal damage to start going for it. This goes for pretty much every character. As far as setting up, you really can just let the missiles do the work. In other words, just spam it. When one hits it takes care of itself as long as you keep your timing right. Also, in the case where they have too much damage, you can still do i by firing your missiles higher than the last as you approach.

That looked fun. Mafia, the video you provided reminded me of how I use my Homing Missiles. With Super Missiles, people are barraged by so much projectile that it overwhelms them. I like doing a short hop, using a Super Missile, landing and then using a Super Missile again. It covers much of the ground range, and it's so fast.
