If it goes almost as far as lucas' wavebounce, then pikachu's regular b move could be alot more useful for spacing against physical characters?

Neutral B's are too difficult to perform on the c-stick consistently.

Er... you can wavebounce without the cstick?

Furthermore, that's what they said about every high level tech that takes practice to use. I really wish people would stop calling things "too difficult" to perform. If it exists, someone will learn how to do it.

As for the original topic: you have a LARGE degree of control over your DI while in the air with pikachu, including when you're thundershocking. You've just gotta learn when the soonest possible moment is that you can DI without turning around. The results may surprise you. I often dash toward a foe, jump, thundershock, then DI back to where I was standing to begin with. You can retreat quite the distance with it while simultaneously creating a "wall" in front of you that will keep your foe from safely approaching.

Pika?
Wavebouncing is good for jumping off the cliff and wavebouncing a thunder, making the thunder go right where you woould sweetspot, and you can be back on the stage...doing whatever.
