I'm not implying they're horrible people, just said their banter was getting boring. They played Lost Levels and talked about basic stuff for almost half an hour like "This character does this", "This is how you play" "Smash Run is this" hearing it again doesn't make it any more interesting than it already was. My comment was directed at a certain time period, you answered a good 10 minutes after I did and I'm not even streaming it live. If they talk about combos and stuff later then cool, but if I sit down expecting to watch a tournament, I wanna see a tournament lol not some dudes rambling on about something I'm already familiar with.
Fair enough, but, as Epictetus said, bear and forbear. Again, I ask patience. There is no reason to complain. To allow oneself to do so is selfish and self-destructive.

Do you guys have an idea about the "special" surprises? I'm hoping it wasn't just Toph and Scar showing up.

It was not a 3ds tournament?
No, it is, they were just having an exhibition match between PEOPLE'S CHAMP Scar, Toph BBQ, Bill (Nintendo translator/Treehouse guy) and JC (Treehouse guy?)

When did I say I was exiting the stream because they're not showing what I want? You making too many accusations on me man  if you tune in on VH1 expecting to see behind the music, but they air a marathon of Nicki Minaj's greatest hits instead, do you watch the whole marathon until they air it or wait until the show you want to watch starts? I made a point on something I was watching because I was confused as to why they weren't airing what was scheduled for that time. I just skipped ahead and they're airing some Sm4sh so.. yay, but I fail to see why you keep insisting with this. I'm just looking for conversation on the matter not for you to tell me I'm selfish and impatient, that's offensive bro. I'm just a dude watching a stream just like you.

I'll repeat it again. Does anyone here have an idea about the special surprises? Let's not call Toph and Scar the surprises.

I'm watching it at YouTube since Twitch is acting very slow for me. Hopefully in the final SSB3DS the character select icons are slightly smaller to accomodate the 33+ characters.

Bowser's f-smash's are ridiculous. And Marth's looking pretty good!!! Stat-wise I mean. The guy who played him was awful.

Probably a new char at the end of the stream. There's hope for a demo after the stream though.

I heard one of the Nintendo guys in the stream say the "special surprise" is from 1 to Cap. Falcon a Falcon Punch so it has to be something good right? They can't just bring Zelda Williams out again and call that a surprise. Can anyone confirm that for me? Wasn't paying that much attention

"Something you know, but haven't yet seen" last I heard about the surprise. Not sure what it is, but they're hyping it up a bit. Pretty sure its nothing that big tho

Yeah, I'm pretty sure we're not getting anything as interesting as a new characters, but I'm still watching out of sheer hope.

They said the "surprise" was something we already know about but haven't seen so much. Almost certainly it's them showing one or two fights with a character we already know about.

My guess would be pacman since we've already seen Sakurai willing to demo a build where Pac was playable. But I think that's the best possibility. More likely it's just them demo'ing a stage or something lol

Not sure if its just me, but the 3DS version is much more entertaining to watch at the moment. It seems like its much faster as well.

The more I look at Luigi, the more I'm starting to hate him(this version, not in general).

...wait. Is this the same demo as the one at E3 and Best Buy?

Honestly, it was the match a lil while ago between Bowser vs. Shiek, that really sold me. I think it's the first 1v1 they streamed. It was really fast. The autocancels seem strong in this game, they were both using lots of tilts and jabs and it really showed lots of fast back+forth action. It's harder to see that in the FFAs or with predictable spammy players.

I understand the concept completely, yet this does nothing to diminish my criticism of their ungrateful attitudes or my commendation of the strengths of the commentary.
The issue is we can "hear" about SSB virtually any time. However, it's not often we can watch new games of it happening.

Thankfully, they started playing matches so there was something to watch, at least.

I know Nintendo said it was the same as the E3 demo, but aren't there different characters? I didn't see ZSS on the select screen and I don't remember Luigi, Sheik or Yoshi being playable.

Maybe I'm just thinking of the available characters in the Invitational, IDK.
