As for Muddy's inclusion... I bet my POV would change if I played his game(s) but right now, I don't feel like we should get another Miyamoto character... Sure, he offers a lot of variety, I'll give him that.. in fact, if BOMBS are his weapon of choice, count me in!! I support the dude! But Miyamoto has waaayy to many characters in already...

Genyo Takeda has NONE. Little Mac was turned into an assist, so that still leaves the great man with no representations as playable fighters...

If I count Dr. Mario (though Miyamoto's creation, Dr Mario 64 was produced by Takeda..) and we know he's LEAVING, that leaves his representatives from 1/4, to 0 again... That sucks.. ><

I find it unfair that parrothead got banned. If anything it was because vesperview pushed him so far as he is doing with the rest of us; and that is what made parrothead said that.

He really isn't a racist, just that vesperview pushed him. And I agree with shinhed-echi; he needs to grow up.

I remember playing Mole Mania in elementary school with a little friendly competition to see who would beat it first, along with playing VS mode against each other. I'd definitely be stoked if he was in brawl.

BTW: What Parrothead said was definitely out of line for the situation, for those trying to defend him.

Burrowing underground could work pretty well too. I can see him slashing with those claws as well.

Parrothead is a good dude.

He is not the emotional type. I've almost never seen him laugh, yell or show any type of emotion. (You can always show your mood by emoticons :D :O etc)

For Parrothead to react this way... vesperviper must have REALLY gotten on his nerves.. (And I can see why, that guy shoots down every single of PHs threads without giving much backup info).

And it's not that big of an insult either.. He mentioned his nationality, and added "jerk" afterwards. Is that really ban material?

anyway, that's it for me and this subject. I didn't come to these boards to flame.. I just came here to suppor characters, and make friends to Brawl on WiFi someday.

Irregardless of whether or not somebody pushed him, he over-reacted like all hell. On a less popular forum, with older posters, with less people who the comment could apply to then yeah, the ban would kinda be weird, But then you have to consider how many people join Smashboards, most of them probably being kids, with a wide range of different cultural backgrounds. What Parrothead publicly said, because somebody insulted his taste in fictional characters for a cartoon-ish fighting game of all things, was completely and utterly idiotic. Even just outright swearing would've been a smarter move than what he did.

And 'Is this a joke?' is hardly pushing someone over the edge, no matter how many times you copy/ paste it into an online thread.

Anyway, Muddy Mole... Eh, he'd be a good way to fill out the retro-parts of the roster, but he'd have to come after more needy characters like Ridley and Olimar to get my support.

Also, the more you see it, the harder it is for you to stop enjoying it. There are some mistakes in the old artwork. In the old artwork, he has no toe nails, has a black scarf instead of a red one, has darker skin/fur, has no unibrow and throws a bomb instead of an iron ball.

I couldn't see him as a playable either, because all he did in Mole Mania was:

• Throw iron balls, barrels and other objects.
• Dig
• Push and pull objects

That's about all I could think of without replaying Mole Mania.
