Learning alot of stuff

Using mostly Terran/Protoss so far

just doing practice games atm so far i'm 1-1 i ***** this guy then i tried doing this thing called a gas steal and it failed and i lost that game

hella fun someone should deff play with me and show me some more stuff ^.~

learning builds isnt as beneficial to a newer player as is executing it well. keep making SCVs, keep tabs on supply, spend that early gas accordingly, react from scouting your opponent. so many variables to practice! i wouldnt fux with more exotic builds before you can really get used to a "bread and butter" build, if you will.

i approve of a 1v1 smashboards SC2 tournament!

yea getting a bunch of rines/rauders/medvacs with maybe 1-2 tanks chilin at your base is a good basic terran build, however you wanna do it.

Players will no longer receive achievement toasts while their status is set to "Busy."
The messaging when attempting to load a saved game or replay from a previous version has been clarified
Adjusted the amount of points earned and lost by random team participants to properly reflect the strength of a player's teammates.

PROTOSS
Buildings
Nexus life and shields increased from 750/750 to 1000/1000.
Void Ray
Damage level 1 increased from 5 to 6 (+4 armored).
Damage level 2 decreased from 10 (+15 armored) to 8 (+8 armored).
Flux Vanes speed upgrade bonus decreased from 1.125 to 0.703.


TERRAN
Buildings
Barracks requirement changed from Command Center to Supply Depot.
Supply Depot life increased from 350 to 400.
Medivac
Acceleration reduced from 2.315 to 2.25.
Speed reduced from 2.75 to 2.5.
Reaper
Nitro Packs speed upgrade now has a Factory Requirement.
Thor
Energy bar removed.
250mm Strike Cannons is now cooldown-based on a 50-second cooldown. Ability starts with cooldown available (useable immediately after upgrade is researched).


ZERG
Buildings
Hatchery life increased from 1250 to 1500.
Lair life increased from 1800 to 2000.
Spawning Pool life increased from 750 to 1000.
Spire life increased from 600 to 850.
Ultralisk Cavern life increased from 600 to 850.
Corruptor
Energy bar removed.
Corruption is now cooldown-based on a 45-second cooldown. Ability starts with cooldown expired (must wait for full 45-second cycle before usable).

ok, this is decent. 500+ HP to Nexus. slowing down Void Rays.

Roach Range increasing from 3 to 4 is goooood. I think it helps them outreach a few specific units.

hmmm thats not really a big increase for roaches
well it's pretty significant I think. like rines have 5 range and 4 range vs 5 sounds a helluva lot better than 3 vs 5 lol.

when I get back from MLG I'm just going to take a few days and 1v1 nonstop ><

thors used to take 75 energy to use cannons, but now theres no energy and will just be a free move, with lots of cooldown

It's a buff for thors. The upgrade was useless and Thors would just get ***** by feedback.

I wonder how they're gonna buff zerg next...

Big thing in ZvT with the roaches is that hellions cant kite them anymore. Thats pretty huge.

Well now that MLG DC is over alot of us are going back to sc2 again.....after watching the pros at mlg I feel like a little girl in this game lol

Mech build Wrecks ling muta.

Start off with hellions. Learn how to micro them. If you know what your doing you can take 25 zerglings with just 4 hellions. Then harass his mineral lines and gain map control. If you contain the zerg, you usually win.

Watch TheLittleOne(TLO). He has godly hellion micro. Thors take care of mutas.

Magic box helps mutas vs thors, but if you have an equal amoutn of thors compared to his mutas cost wise, youll still win. Also, if your engaging mutas with thors, dont bunch up your thors; itll make it that much harder for the mutas to magic box you.


PS I'm going to play protoss a lot more. I dont know if I'm "maining" them per-say, but I had a lot of success with them tonight.

Ughhh finally started to do 1v1's again to try and get my confidence back. Lose to some toss then beat a rank 11 and rank 5 diamond then I d/c the next game -.-;;;; was gettin all comfortable too.

our league is tough...#1 team has like 1650 pts and everyone else top 10 is like 1300-1500

ive seem some diamond leagues with the #1 team with only 1200 pts =\
