Number of characters

If this has been posted already then I am sorry. I Just want to know how many characters will be in Brawl

There supposedly was a statement from Miyamato suggesting 35-40. I think thirty-five would be ideal. But may I suggest, that to keep this thread from being closed we debate the merits of having too many verus too few characters?

False. No such statement has ever been made. No one has any idea how many characters there will be, and anyone that claims to is lying.
