OHAITHAR, I'm looking for a tournament that isn't for advanced players, or filled with:

I live in SoCal, Riverside County, preferably one that doesn't require full-set. :reverse:

Good luck finding that >_> What you should do is just go to a tourney near you and play people there. And what does it matter if they're better than you? Atleast you'll learn/get better by playing against them than playing against those who you are capable of sandbagging.

I don't understand. The reason to have a tournament in the first place is because of the joy of competition. What's the point if you aren't going to play against the highest quality competitors? If you're just looking to have a good time in a nice, laid-back atmosphere, keep playing smash with the guys you met in middle school who live down the street.

No, you can't find a tournament full of scrubs because scrubs don't go to tournaments. What you should do is go to a tournament full of good players, get to know some of them and play as many friendlies as you can.
