Screams fake to me.So I just found this picture on twitter. According to the tweet and the image, it contains information on possible upcoming DLC characters for Smash 3DS/Wii U. It's supposedly an eShop listing which appears to be from a French Wii U. Now I don't really believe in this "leak". Anyone could do it in photoshop and could make it perfect.

Also to note, the tweet was made on August 12th. So it could have been proven fake by then, but all of this is in French so it's hard to tell. Now if this was posted earlier, I apologize. I just saw it on twitter and thought it would give us something to talk about.

I obviously think the leak is fake, but I could actually see them adding a Lego character into Smash. The Lego franchise is fairly large in the video gaming world. Also, with the recent surge in popularity for this toy, with movies, theme parks, etc, I don't think it's too far fetched.

Why make a smaller version of a successful game for arcades? Especially if it was on the 3DS, a popular system in Japan?
I'm guessing it's like the Shantae incident where people overreacted to her appearing on an eShop ad next to some Nintendo icons.

This would be cool, but I think they roster would be trimmed even more if this were real. Most likely they'd have a roster around 12-20. Nothing would surprise me, though.

Well, we could wait and see if he actually answers questions. I could potentially prove his legitimacy even more (I guess...).
The idea of an arcade version of Smash Bros. would be a really neat concept. Just think about how that would effect the competitive scene. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
I'm also still thinking it's going to be fake leak-busting mania tomorrow as a certain anniversary is coming up. This just may be the start of it...

They certainly run my imagination wild, even though they lack credibility.
There exists several Mario Kart arcade games, most of which have a smaller cast of characters than the console and handheld versions.
If anything, lessening the roster was realistic.
To compare, take a look at the Mario Kart 7 and Mario Kart Arcade GP DX (the latest handheld and arcade Mario Kart titles respectively) rosters.

It's how I made it. I took the credentials of other arcade games.
Most go for a small roster as a set fix for future updates. Plus a Smash Arcade is probably the most plausible thing that can come
