That was never really Little Mac, anyway. No where in Super Punch-Out is the protagonist referred to as Little Mac. If EA wanted to use Little Mac, they should have used Little Mac... whose design was more well known, anyway.

That was before Next Levels Games that wasn't him. Nintendo never disconfirmed that Birdie (is what we gonna call blonde Trunks here) isn't Little Mac at the time and NOA did the same thing as well.

I can't give in-depth responses for whether or not I want a character even when there's just four. It's always "Yes, because I like this character" or "No, because I either don't like this character, think the series they're from is overrepped, or I don't think they belong in Smash".

I can go on and on about a character's chances and all that, but when it comes to 100% opinion-based stuff, I'm extremely boring and generic. "I want Wolf because I like him", "I don't want Anna because we don't need anymore Fire Emblem characters in this game".

We've seen a Sami model, we know Knuckles and Lyn are to be playable, and somebody who had access to assets that ended up in 3.5/3.6 showed Gifs of Isaac movements.

His claim was that Skull Kid was a lie and that Ridley was a big maybe for 5th character, but who knows how credible that was.

Well, I don't think my in-depth thoughts would really be necessary for most of the characters since I've voted yes to very few of them to be honest. Only the ones that I feel are truly important to me. Besides, I've rated in the RTC DLC edition everyday thus far, so my thoughts on most of the important characters on your polls should be in there somewhere.

As far as I remember, it was the model that was scrapped because it was leaked. I don't remember the entire character getting scrapped. Something about that might've been mentioned in the big 4chan post that had assets, I'd need to dig it up.

I don't see why they'd scrap the model but not the character.

Sami was leaked, period. Her presence wouldn't be a surprise anymore regardless of whether or not they use Vaanrose's model.

Yeah, I'm not sure what the reason for the change was. If I had to guess, though, it might be because Punch-Out is bigger in the states then in Japan, so they wanted to go with something less anime looking. It's an inferior design all around, in my opinion.

Skull Kid being a lie wouldn't be surprising. I don't know how they'd manage to make him a character since the PM Dev team is limited in capacity and he doesn't seem to be derivative at all.

I knew about for a long while. Remember, biggest Punch Out fan on the social.

Thing is he looks closer to both Macs but he's actually has more anime and Japanese features on him

I believe the change in design was due to appeal for US audiences. Remember Super Punch Out never got a offical release in Japan, ever until VC re-releases.

Japan never got a full commercial release for the series until the Wii game which bombed in Japan due it's following not being strong there AT ALL

I think the anime was on a budget which led to only 13 episodes and limited/rushed character development. The game goes into way more depth regarding each character during their free time events where you learn more info about there past and personality. The manga also goes more in depth I believe.

If they do, they'll just confirmed it's not Little Mac and either do two things

• Have him be like a Player 2 to Mac's Player 1
• Have Blondie fight Mac as a hidden fight to push the point futher

yeah, I know that, but Junko had no positive qualities(this is what her whole character is about) and her sister probably doesn't get much since the time she's alive she's impersonating Junko)

There still more to explore with that, and it's why I think Agrabah will appear again.
