I was watching a video on kirby lore and maybe Star Allies is deeper than I thought. On the surface it's pretty standard for a kirby game but

There seems to be some kind of implication that the Kirby species and Dark matter have the same origin in Void Termina. Apparently there are various incarnations of void termina that are born depending on how much positive or negative energy is gathered. It could be that the kirby species are formed from positive energy and the Dark matter species is formed from negative energy while gooey could be something in the middle or mid dark or just a failure to properly form. I wonder if that would imply that Galacta Knight was formed good and somehow turned evil on his own.

Indeed. Series had some slow points to it but the plot always kept me hooked on the story. Especially the last half of Season 5 when business really picked up.

Yeah, the first half of season 2 was a slog for me. Other than that though, I was pretty hooked the entire time. And yes, season 5B is the best part of the show (especially the last three episodes. WOW).

I also have a top 10 character ranking as well...

1. Jesse (wonderful character arc and despite being reckless in the early seasons is still a kind person at heart)
2. Mike (coolness incarnate)
3. Walt (maybe the most complicated character? He's very interesting even though he does some TERRIBLE things)
4. Gus (Like Walt but calmer and more logical for the most part. Backstory is interesting too)
5. Skyler (Controversial opinion, but Skyler is one of my favorite characters. She has made bad decisions, but she's an excellent foil to Walt, and I find her "turning Walt in" vs. "staying loyal to Walt" dilemma fascinating)
6. Saul (hilarious)
7. Hank (funny most of the time and has some of the more underrated scenes)
8. season 2-5 Marie (she's pretty cool in seasons 2-5. But in season 1? YEESH)
9. Walt Jr. (sometimes he says the darndest things and it causes both comical scenes and intense scenes)
10. Andrea (best minor character. Her interactions with Jesse are entertaining and she's a very likable character)

Apparantly, I am not 100% so take that with a grain of salt, Turters is in more cutscenes (when Zeke is on screen) that one might think, he is just well hidden most of the time.

Yeah Walt's a very odd one. He's mostly selfish and all but still has some regard for his family and even Jesse.

Saul pretty much made the show for most of the seasons. It's no coincidence they gave him a spinoff.
