Now think of an obscure boss from that series that you'd like to return as a super charged bonus boss in a later game.


Personally, I'd love to see Heavy Lobster 3.0.

Well, I always thought it'd be interesting if Blind the Thief from Link to the Past became a character with a real backstory, a character with development, and whatnot.

But that's not exactly what's being asked here. For an obscure boss to become a super bonus boss in a later game? I have to pick the Computer Virus from Kirby Super Star. That one was always one of my favourite bosses, yet it only appeared in the Super Star games. Such injustice.

Bongo Bongo, but this time he can deattach himself from the roof to chase you by crawling or growing spider-like legs, giving you much less space to shoot arrows due the toxic lake surrounding the area.
Also, a backstory for the dude would be nice.

Same with Heavy Lobster 3.0, it was an interesting boss. It was funny how he gave you the paint ability in Super Star though, just dropped a little blob of paint at you, and he turned red. That can be in the next Kirby game.

Another one if you want to be different, Shadow Queen from Paper Mario the Thousand Year Door or Primal Dialga in a future Pokemon game ( can be a spin-off I guess ).

Based on his appearance and locale, I always took him to be someone that was executed.

Cutting the hands off thieves is a pretty common archaic punishment, and the eye sprung from his neck suggests a (rather messy) decapitation. Couldn't tell you exactly what might've lopped off his bongo beaters, but you can basically pick whichever of the myriad guillotines throughout the Shadow Temple you think did the latter job.

How that ties in with his boss fight is beyond me.

Or no because he was the final boss?

I mean, I would assume he's "obscure" because he's never really talked about in comparison to Captain Syrup.

To answer @Swampasaur, I guess Thardis from Metroid Prime. He was a cool boss. I'm sure he could get an upgrade just by having more rocks to make up his body. Quadraxis too, but he's already a hard as hell fight, can't imagine him being even harder.

I mean, I would assume he's "obscure" because he's never really talked about in comparison to Captain Syrup.

Even Captain Syrup could almost fit that bill, since Wario Land still seems to play second fiddle to WarioWare in popularity.

We ain't seen the Cap'n in a decade now.

Since I'm pretty sure they'll reveal the CYL results here, I guess I'll put my predictions up:

-Hector and Celica will keep their spots, if Lyn and Ike are any indication, there should be a large gap between them and second place and I doubt they'd close it within 2-3 days' time.
-Second place will be more contested, but I think Ephraim and Camilla will keep their spots as well since I'm sure now that their fans are aware of their places, they'll keep funneling votes into them.
-Reinhardt will meme his way to fourth. Veronica will also get pushed up to fourth since she's a highly wanted NPC character.
-Mystery!Marth will drop, I'm sure Marth voters will start focusing on Shadow Dragon over Mystery to get him into second place and that loss of votes will probably cause him to dip a bit. In that scenario, I see Leif overtaking him since I'm sure his voters will keep voting for him and he'll probably start getting votes from his FE4 counterpart to boost him even more.
-The rest of the Top 20 I think will remain close to the same. Characters like Selkie and Morgan may move up a bit due to campaigning, but otherwise I'm pretty sure we won't see any major shifts since we had less time compared to the previous one.

I expect more details about that upcoming banner will be revealed (whether it's Legendary Banner #2 or the likely Valentine's Day banner).

I also think this is when they'll reveal the final results for CYL 2.

Hopefully they'll also talk about the upcoming patch update, since it's the anniversary I'm hoping they have some unique ideas in mind for it and I'd like to see them talk in detail about it if the are there. Similarly, I'm looking forward to seeing what the Legendary Hero will be for the banner, and what characters they'll pick for it alongside Guunthra and Fjorm.

I wonder if I traumatise Sharena a lot less for keeping at least one copy with me(except that time with Klein and Sanaki). While this looks like it's contradicting the last comic, those lines in front of Sharena may indicate that Wrys was merely teleported back home rather than tragically sacrificed, but I don't want to ruin too thoroughly people's disgusting headcanons.

Damn lol Yugioh dubs continue to be cursed.

I just learned the Arc-V dub completely skipped the Synchro Dimension arc/second season. Apparently Nicktoons took their sweet time in getting on with it so they just skipped it and went on to season 3/Xyz arc.

This is pretty funny considering the Synchro arc is infamously long and full of filler, so they basically skipped around 30%-40% of the show.

With this, Zexal remains the only spinoff to get all it's episodes dubbed and aired.
