I find it kind of sad that I'm one of the only people who posts in the Fire Emblem thread and there haven't even been posts since around December.
Not that I don't like that people talk about it here, but still.

Alright, I get it, people are tired of this old FE discussion, we need to talk about something new!
So, new topic... what do you guys expect Fire Emblem 16?
-Related to previous games or not? Be it prequel, sequel or distant future/same world.
-Will there be an overworld map like SoV or Awakening?
-New classes?
-New kinds of maps?
-How will the next Lord be like?
-Will the WT remain the same as Fates or get reworked again?
-New types of weapons being introduced or old ones like Light and Dark Magic returning?
-How many waifus will there be to break the FEH meta when they're added into it?
And the most important question:
-How many memes will it produce?

-I expect that it will be its own thing and likely have a new continent.

-I could definitely see a world map being a thing.

-I don't have any ideas for new classes, but new classes in general seem inevitable.

-I could see the maps being more varied.

-Another sword Lord

In all seriousness, I would like to see another lance or axe Lord, or even a bow Lord like Opposum mentioned.

-I could see the WT being reworked to be like the one in Heroes.

-I certainly want Light and Dark magic to return but I'm not expecting them to.

-At least 2 or 3 banners.

On a different note, I've started playing KH Dream Drop Distance today.

I'm enjoying the gameplay so far. Dream Eaters seem like an interesting gameplay system, but I'm guessing there not quite as good as party members from the other games.
Still better AI than Donald.

Although, I am a bit confused on the plot so far, mainly, what Sora and Riku were doing on the Destiny Islands. I know that they are trying to find the sleeping keyholes and all but that doesn't really explain why they looked like their KH1 selves.

However, I do know from Re: coded that

Short answer is balance. Having another dancer when Azura was already available could break certain maps worse than Awakening's Galeforce could if they weren't careful.

Just got her last night from a Summon Ticket, since I'm saving my Quartz for Jeanne Alter and I was attempting to see if I could get regular Jeanne from the Rate Up today. My luck seems to skyrocket when I use Summon Tickets rather than Quartz for summoning, since I got my first Vlad III, Tamamo and now "Bride" Nero from Summon Tickets, all of them being Arts-based Servants, while I got Altera and Kintoki, Buster-based Servants, from Quartz summons.
Regardless, Nero will be a huge addition to my Arts Team once I get her levelled up and Ascended.

If I remember correctly that scene is just a memory that was taken over by Ursula. As the villains are invading their dreams because of the organization

As for trophies I don't think that was too bad. There's easy enough ones to counter the hard. On top of that you also need to answer the three questions at the end of the game correctly

I doubt the Top 2 will change much because, as we saw last time, the vote difference between each is pretty big. Though part of me is afraid Reinhardt will kick Ephraim out somehow.
Top 10~20 will have some changes if last time is to go by. Beast units might lose some positions as the message has already been sent across.

Sergio found models for Saiyan Saga-era Goku and Vegeta in the files. In completely separate folders from their SSJ and Blue forms.

The model for Sword of Hope is in the game. Trunks in his DBS outfit is also in the game as an unused model.

There's some new modes called Z-Union and Z-League but they're likely to be scrapped ideas.

Yeah, Greg Chun took over for Ike in Heroes. Honestly I think it's for the best. His performances in Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. and Fates were pretty poor IMO.

Looks like the Chinese Overlords couldn't keep SNK away from their trolling ways. The company that made the main character on their main franchise, an effeminated french boy twinky that plays exactly like Guile, is back the their old trolling ways.

During last year's April Fools, SNK created a fake release for a fake game called "Nariyuki Quest". Here's the synopsis:

It all began hazardously...

Here are all women fighters representing SNK, imprisoned by the demon Sandel Dark.

Right here right now, a heroine conflict that will end no-one knows where, is about to start...

What is the purpose of Sandel Dark? What is the heroines fate?

Who would take something like that seriously, right? It's April Fools, that game is clearly an 8-bit RPG. We laughed. We moved on... Five days later, on April 6th, SNK released another image, this time it was a webcomic that seemed to explain the plot of the game (I'll link them all at the end of the post). In the next 9 months, SNK continued to release the webcomic every other week. The story was absolutely wonderful, chicks from the SNK universe were all kidnapped by Sandel Dark, who was obviously Kukri, and what he did with those heroines? Well... he lewded them. He locked them all in his weird non-euclidian mansion, and created some sort of Huger Game, and the winner would be his wife - no matter if she wanted it or not... maybe, sometimes it just seems like he just installed cameras in their rooms to watch them change - anyway. That's the plot of the webcomic.

It was silly.

It was funny.

It was not serious... UNTIL NOW

Because, the very next day after the announcement of SNK Heroines TTF, they release the last chapter of the webcomic. And guess what? The webcomic is actually the prequel/setup of the game!

Need more proof? Sure. Take a look at the official box cover of the game.

Yes. That's Kukri back there. Posing like the main villain of the game. Exactly like the image of the fake game that SNK posted on April Fool's.

With that in mind, there are some characters that we can be sure are on the game, since they appear on the webcomic.

There are some other waifus that appear on the comic but are not on the mansion. They may - or may not - appear in the game.

• Alice - Kukri says that she has a sidestory on his game

There are also some dudes who seem to be helping Kukri to lewd the waifus.

• Choi, Chang, Tung Fu Rue, Meitenkun, Jubei Yamada (he seems to be the one putting the characters on skimpy outfits) and Xanadu.

-Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is a game I've still barely gotten started with, so it may go further up on the list as time passes BUT (unpopular opinion based on what a lot of Xenoblade fans think) I vastly prefer the focus on exploration and freedom of XCX compared to the heavy story to that of the first game...and I can already tell that it's more like the latter...not that it's a bad thing mind you but I just prefer the pull that exploration has in a game over a bunch of cutscenes...in fact looking at my top three titles it definitely shows that exploring and doing whatever the **** I want seems to prioritize a heavy in depth story in games for me...as it really should tbh...with that said the new mechanics are quite fun to use in combat so far....THINK YOU CAN BEAT ME!!?!?

-Shantae/Shovel Knight are a tie, perhaps thanks to Smash speculation for for their association as THE indie characters but also perhaps also because I was playing through both games at pretty much the same time, alternating between the two, both were very enjoyable for various reasons...I couldn't really decide whether I liked one or the other better, both have their own amount of charm to offer...perhaps my bias for metroidvanias would have me leaning more towards Shantae but that's not to downplay the experience with Shovel Knight...

-Steamworld Dig 2 and Axiom Verge are pretty much the closest we have to Metroid on the Switch so far...Steamworld Dig 2 outranks Axiom Verge for now mainly because I haven't beaten the game yet and am currently working on it...
I did enjoy other metroidvanias on the system such as the aforementioned Shantae as well as Blaster Master...looking forward to the releases of Steamworld Dig 1 and Hollow Knight...(also metroid...of course)
