I just saw the last episode of Dragon Ball Super

I really wish the Dragon Ball series had more of that team fighting against an overwhelming enemy fights. That was good. Usually it's just 1v1 desperately trying to match the level of the enemy

I'm just glad the Universe Survival Arc is over. As a whole I found it the weakest arc of the series.

It was far too long imo.

But it had a lot of great character moments that were sorely missing before, and they managed to turn one of the blandest antagonists of Z into one of the best overall players of the tournament. Plus that animation, while there was a lot of recycling going on, Jesus was that an upgrade from the previous arcs.

Overall I feel a bit mixed on this arc, but I'll miss Super as a whole.

My Super arc ranking: Zamasu arc > ToP arc > the daily life filler eps > U6 arc

I haven't actually seen the movie recaps, some say they do add more to the movies but the animation and art being so crappy pretty much counteracts that.

I hope 17 and Frieza will play a role in the movie somehow ~ (well, the latter's kind of confirmed anyway)

Also at the beginning of the episode, when 17 stares into Frieza's eyes and says "I could leave without worrying because I knew everything would be okay with you on the field"... It's almost like 17 trusted him so much he would entrust his own life to him of all people. I dig that.
