I do understand. The United Nations is just one big group, but they can always call down the SWAT... right? They are the leaders and representatives joining together to discuss certain events and to maintain peace and security to all.

You are missing my point man. I am not saying the UN has swat involved.. It is just a place for peace and security talks. There are world leaders in there and if there is a problem, they can just call the SWAT through their advanced phones. Know what I mean?

It's a unit many police forces around the world have.

I don't mind it, and it's far from my least favorite design in the game (that dishonor goes to Newt, never saw the appeal), but even I'll admit that it looks bit...overdesigned. And it's most likely getting toned down at least a bit for Smash (as in showing less skin, like some other characters currently in, playable or otherwise), which I personally don't mind either.
