So there's a new banner in Fire Emblem Heroes where units with some form of countering have boosted pull rates. The featured units are pretty good: Hector, Takumi, and Ike. If you guys want more units to inherit Distant Counter and/or Close Counter, this is your chance to pull those necessary units. Only problem is that this banner will last only for a week.

For me, I'm glad we have a banner like this because I want more of my units to gain access to Distant Counter, so more Hectors are at the top of my priority for this banner. On the other hand, this banner just so happened to come out shortly after I spent up my orbs to pull Exalted Chrom, so now I need to wait a bit until I restock. Thankfully, Tempest Trials starts tomorrow, so I'll just use the orbs I get from that to snipe for the green orbs in that Countering Skills banner. If I don't get green orbs, silver orbs are my next priority in the hopes of pulling another Takumi.

I'd pull but I've already spent 100+ orbs on the Morgan banner, and I'd rather save for the Thracia banner.

Still here? Okay, another warning: what you are about to see is a REALLY creepy and "What the Heck" moment

This is some gameplay of the battle with Hyness.

We see Hyness unmasked. He looks so odd yet unsettling. He looks like Squidward Tentacles if he took an overdose of drugs. Not what I expected that's for sure!

But what makes this battle even creepier is that for that phase of the fight, Hyness fights you using the Jambastion Mages AS CORPSES.

Yep, he goes crazy over you removing his hood, and in response, he basically kills the mages right in front of you and just flings their lifeless bodies in some pretty unsettling ways.

It's moments like these that make you realize the Kirby series gets REALLY dark at times.

I'd love Lancelot though I really want to see Hercules.
I'm incredibly disappointed that we aren't getting any new Assassins as it's my favorite Class. Doesn't help that I hate Li Shuwen and he's nothing like an Assassin.
Where are my Hassans or the Savior of France???

At least we're getting more Berserkers, anither class that was lacking in Extella.

I still think the Ruler will be Amakusa Shirou, don't think we'll get a new one and the only currently known candidates for the Class are(not including Jeanne) him, Saint Martha and Sherlock Holmes.

IIRC, the joke was that while Roy was crushed by being cut and stalks the house where the Smashers still reside, Wolf took it as an excuse to take a vacation and has been wearing that hawaiian shirt and sunglasses since.

Amakusa is case 2. But considering how Extella gave us an OC protag in Altera and OC villain in Mathman, I feel like we're gonna get the same thing here.

I'm pretty sure we're getting an OC villain, all things considered, I just don't think it'll be a Ruler.

Also, why Nursery Rhyme and Nightingale especifically? Are they really popular or is it something else?

Oooo, Robin Hood is going to be playable! That's great! He's got a pretty nice moveset!

I'm still not sure if I'll pick up Extella Link when it comes to the Switch, but him, Scathach, Tamamo, and Cu Chulainn are main materials at the moment.

Here is some gameplay footage of the fight against Void Termina, the final boss in Kirby Star Allies:

Seems like there were some parts about Void Termina I was right about, and parts I was wrong. He does indeed have a Zero/Dark-Matter like form, but not in the way I expected (I thought he would literally look like the logo that appears on Hyness's robes and the Jambastion Mages hats). The symbol with the heart-shape with horns is actually his mask that you see for the duration of the first fight (as a side note, I hope I'm not the only one who thinks that mask gives Majora's Mask vibes)

I gotta say, this fight looks pretty unique. It has a true 3D feel to it in the movement and navigation aspects as you try to strike Void Termina's weak point. Seems like the first phase is you fighting his "giant" form. The mere setting of the fight, the form the boss takes, and the swords he uses reminds me of the Demise battle from Skyward Sword. Void Termina also takes on a bird-like form for this phase of the fight, and it looks pretty cool from the footage presented: you harrowly dodge his incoming tackle to strike his weak point on his back.

Second phase of the fight appears to be the fight with its "heart" inside its body. The mere shape and patterns on it reminds me of Anankos's soul form from Fire Emblem Fates. What's also worth mentioning about this phase is that if you look closely in the background, you can see Hyness and the three Jambastion Mages wrapped in a cocoon-like substance, like their now deceased bodies are having what's left of them absorbed for Void Termina to use as energy. Creepy stuff!

Not much is shown of the Zero/Dark-Matter form portion of the fight other than the conclusion of it. Seems like the anime reference they're going for with Kirby's final attack this time is is Gate of Babylon from Fate/Stay Night, particularly in the way the allies appear behind Kirby and are thrown as projectiles to finish Void Termina off. In Planet Robobot, Kirby's final attack against Star Dream basically ripped off Guren Lagan. Makes me wonder what anime reference will Kirby utilize for the final boss in the next main series game.
