Theoretically yes, but it wouldn't be the first time as BW also had a relatively short pre-release cycle, starting in April (with Zorua/Zoroark being revealed a couple months prior) and continuing on until its release in September. Additionally, Pokémon usually doesn't really get going with its pre-release period until May as XY only gave us Sylveon and Mega Mewtwo Y while SM gave us flat out nothing outside of Magearna, so they could be skipping the fluff this time around.

In general though, I feel Pokémon Switch is going to be a bit of an oddball out of the Pokémon generations whether it sticks to 2018 or not. Even its announcement was a bit off since it was mentioned when USUM barely even started hyping itself up, and I can see that being carried into how it's handled pre-release.

It's really unfortunate considering what he's done and how intelligent he is. Though given his condition, he did seem to live a full life.

It's weird to me because I had a conversation with someone earlier this week about him. Still, every generation his bound to have its great thinkers and scientists, I'm sure someone can carry that proverbial torch down the line.

I agree with that there will be more scientists along the path, but I hope people remember Stephen Hawking. He managed to carry on despite his disease and he made many great studies that impact us today. May the intelligent minds continue!

Yeah, it's kind of ridiculous, but I'd love to have some sort of Ginyu-esque gimmick; and while the way it's described here sounds cool, I'm not so sure about putting it with a counter of all things.

So I thought I'd take the time and do some theorizing regarding the Kirby Star Allies leak. That said, only read this post if you followed what the datamine revealed about the game.

This theory is related to what how I think the final boss in the game looks like.

So for those that may recall from the leaks, the final boss in the game is revealed to be Void Termina, a dark-like entity the main villain Hyness worships and wants to bring into the universe to usher a new age of chaos much like the classic sorcerer villain in Fire Emblem games. While it was easy to figure out who Hyness and Zan Partizane just by looking at them, we don't know how Void Termina looks like; the datamine doesn't reveal anything about how it looks like...

BUT, I think there are some major clues that give away its appearance. Let's look at Hyness.

See that heart-snapped logo with the horns and wings? That's important. It even appears on another set of characters: The Jambastion mages!

Now let's take a closer look at their hats, because there is a familiar logo:

Yep, the same heart-shaped logo with the horns and mask appears on their hats as well. This leads me to think the Jambastion Mages are part of a cult that worships Void Termina, and Hyness leads said cult.

And that logo... is what Void Termina looks like!

It has a dark god-like visage, and the heart-shape goes along with the dark hearts Kirby has to deal with throughout the game. It's also worth noting there appears to be an "eye" in the center, which gives me Zero vibes.

We'll see how the living Void Termina looks like soon. I'm guessing it's going to have a bunch of purple and black colors to fit its dark-like visage.
