There was actually some re-design I found on twitter that actually looked pretty good. More accurate to the games as well. Would have to check and see where it is.

Thought they weren't a thing until 9.

Nope. It's one of the neatest things about the character. He's literally making shadow clones, so who knows if it was a reference to something else, though it is coincidentally a term used in Naruto. I don't know what came first, but the art of deception is a Ninja trait, and he's pretty much a ninja at that point. I don't remember when they established the Lin Kuei aren't "Ninja" for all intents and purposes. Deception, maybe?

Or it was Trilogy. I might've misremembered which game introduced the move. And double checking, Shadow Throw(which I never checked the move name, but took a guess and well... I was right) was in Trilogy as well, but started in UMK3. It's not in any other games as of yet.

I’ve been thinking up a Smash moveset for Jill all day. I will say her final smash she pulls out the rocket launcher from re3 and says “i’ll show you stars!” and then fires it infront of her.

Maybe it’d be a cinematic one. I’ll post more of the moveset later.

Honestly get rid of the teeth and make him less lanky looking and he'd be okay.

Really makes you wonder why they're deciding to redo it now instead of after those leaks.

True. One noticeable thing is that Saibot is the name of many moves, which imply the Shadow clone is literally named that. So Noob and his double, Saibot, might be the proper character idea now. I don't think it's confirmed, but Mortal Kombat Wikia has some neat trivia.

In all fairness, absorbing the blood of others makes her more powerful, so it's creepy, but justified.

Still, I kinda wish she had more of a personality because I really like what little backstory they gave her.
